Attack on Titan wasn't that bad, it was probably above average but it was really overhyped and overrated.
At least its not Sword Art Online.
I loved sword art online, it was a really good anime.
How good is AoT anyway, heard some pretty bad things about the human characters, but the titans themselves sound pretty interesting.
first season of the anime, which is about 30-35 (?) chapters of the manga is decent, but the rest of the manga (i think its up to chapter 60 something now?) is honestly pretty bad. way too many unsolved subplots, no clear goals, it feels like the author just keeps pulling new ideas out of his ass without even considering whether or not they're good before putting them into the main storyline
except it was like one of the hottest anime to debut last year and season 2 is already on its way, also they're already making an OVA movie thingy duo covering the first season
Yeah and the big problem is that the anime started being done when the manga hadn't even progressed all that much so the people in charge of the anime have no clue where the manga's going next, meaning they can't afford to change all that much, and since the manga has like thirty chapters of political fillers and the main characters sitting around doing nothing, we're going to get filler on top of filler.
It may be really fucking boring unless they actually go way out of line and make up an entire story arc with actual titans doing actual attacks.
There's a reason for that actually that's explained later on.
[sp]Intelligent titans have the ability to switch between human and titan forms. This means Titans could spring up literally anywhere at any time.[/sp]
I didn't even know the armored one was a confirmed shapeshifter
I didn't even know the armored one was a confirmed shapeshifter
It's really the only logical explanation for it vanishing immediately after its attack.
I loved sword art online, it was a really good anime.
It got pretty glopping after a bit :v:
Yeah, most marvel characters who can lift tons should be able to easily throw them around.
Really there are single characters from Marvel who could handle the entire Titan crisis. Spiderman included, you put someone like Hulk in there and its literally him just killing Titans left and right for the entire day.
But again that's assuming Hulk knows their weakness, and has the strength to grip through and rip open titan flesh with his bare hands.
I'm not doubting he does, but I think a lot of the early comic is going to be Marvel characters kicking the shit out of titans and just having said titans get back up and keep attacking.
Spoderman must stop annie by using his great responsibility
Not my photo but I legitimately saw this in a store a few years back:
[t]http://www.joblo.com/newsimages1/NotSpider-Man.jpg[/t]
Hulk can punch monsters roughly his size to the moon. Not only does he have the grip he probably doesn't need it.
And I see what your saying about being knowledgeable about the Titan's weakness but it probably won't take long.
There is really nothing a Titan can do to hurt the Hulk so he'll probably notice something after smashing shit for a good day.
I think watching Hulk (assuming he's in the comic, considering the only pic there is Spiderman) stomp the shit out of titans is probably going to be the best part of the comic. :v:
If it's an armored titan like annie, armor can totally stop the hulk. he'd probably be able to hold open the jaws open though

it'd be awesome to see a hero get swallowed whole and then burst out of a titan
question about aot [sp]do they ever get to the fucking basement[/sp]
Yeah, I wanna know this as well. I gave up on the show after people kept dying by the dozens despite them going on and on about how there aren't many humans left.
Yeah, I wanna know this as well. I gave up on the show after people kept dying by the dozens despite them going on and on about how there aren't many humans left.
[sp]They never reach the basement in the anime. They had one mission to do it but gave up because they couldn't last a day in titan territory. At around chapter 55 (anime stopped at 34), they still haven't reached it. Manga's now at chapter 62 but I haven't read that far because it bored me senseless, so I can't tell.[/sp]
All these weebs freaking out.
"how dare those b-bakas corrupt MY ANIMES!"
Get over yourselves.

Never was a big fan of Attack in Titan but this crossover may get me interested.
Might be neat, kind of out of the blue like Archie vs Predator, though.

No one ever said that.
The only thing we're discussing is the odds the two sides have of winning.
If it's an armored titan like annie, armor can totally stop the hulk.
not really tho, the hulk is actually pretty ridiculously strong, he'd be overpowered as shit if there weren't so many other ridiculously strong heroes. idk about him currently but he's held up mountains and pulled a whole planet together before it broke itself apart

The Hulk can literally bench press the earth itself, I don't think a titan would be much of an issue.
I know I know, I'm just giving some possibilities for the titan side. From what I've seen most higher class titans are much faster than the hulk

Doesn't really matter if they still go orbital if he kicks them in the dick :v:
BUT THEY DON'T HAVE DICKS
The plan is out the window!

That's what Internetman is for.

Sword Art Online II managed to recover somewhat ,but nowhere near as good as when season I started out.
Yeah, Hulk is arguably the biggest threat to the Titans. After that, I'd say Wolverine and Deadpool. They're both basically unkillable, and they have the tools to actually get the job done. Extremis Tony Stark as well, though Iron Man regardless could probably handle himself just fine.
Spiderman has a lot better agility and control of his swinging compared to the soldiers, but unless he has an actual weapon, he can't really do anything to hurt them, just slow them down. And with a weapon he is arguably less fit than the soldiers because they can attack and swing indepdent of each other. Spiderman has to do both with the same arms.
Captain America, nah he's fucked. He couldn't do anything. Most the mutants, ehh depends on the mutant.
arent the titans supposed to be super light considering how big they are? despite stupid it sounds, most marvel dudes who are at least as strong as the thing would probably be able to literally throw them around as if they were nothing
Severed titan limbs are as light as air, but not titans themselves, they're realistically(ish) heavy
Severed titan limbs are as light as air, but not titans themselves, they're realistically(ish) heavy
i'm pretty sure all they say is that the limbs are a lot lighter than they should be for their size?
i'm pretty sure all they say is that the limbs are a lot lighter than they should be for their size?
yeah i was exaggerating when i said light as air
But it's only when they're severed and iirc that scientist character (forger her name) speculates it has something to do with their wicked fast rate of decay
Update:
The Marvel Comics/"Attack on Titan" crossover is ready to strike in Japan, and Brutus Magazine has posted a very brief glimpse of what the story will look like, sharing a panel of Spider-Man hitting the Female Titan as Hawkeye, Black Widow and Captain America look on.

This is how most crossovers end up, sadly. So I'm not really surprised at all.
