Yeah, erm sorry to break this to you, but humans didn't create animals.
We pretty much did create modern pigs, dogs and cows. Sheep not so much though, but they are just bred for meat and wool as he said.
A bunch of them did, just not enough of them
That's why it's fucked, it's not like all the kids wanted to kill the sheep
The ones who didn't probably ARE traumatized lmao
It's not like the sheep will be slaughtered in front of them
Unless it will be which would be pretty fucked up

They're just selling it off to a meat making guy or something.
The school is teaching them how to run a farm, for god's sake. It's a decision farmers make.
I wish my school had done cool shit like this.
Me too. Maybe if you were a farmer you wouldn't post on FP so much.
The deed is done. The sheep is dead.

Finally. Now we can get over this shit.
lol paul o'grady
Bloody mossies.
here we go. a big uproar over a decision by kids. they forget that it was the kids choice.
also i bet nobodys even asked any of the kids if they even care
Ok personally as a child (hell even now) I would have been upset seeing an animal *I had grown attatched to* being killed. It would indeed be as if my parents came to me and said they'd sold my cats for someone to eat for dinner. I still accept that animals are sold to eat, hell cats are in other countries, but you see I don't come face to face with that in my life and I highly doubt all these kids aspire to be farmers. So why should the lamb they raised be sold for meat? it's not about animl cruelty, it's about something kind of harsh for some of the kids.
Did the kids actually vote to kill it? That's pretty weird coming from children but I bet that not all the children would agree with it. I would have been horriifed, crying and everything because in my eyes it'd be my pet. I knew full well where meat came from as a kid but the animals that are my pets are special to me and it's the same to many people. If they can't afford it then they shouldn't have a sheep in the first place, my primary school didn't. You don't need to raise and slaughter a sheep to understand how meat is produced or to become mature.

Holy shit half a sheep that's totally worth a quid a go.
Primary school children can just fuck off really.

Good golly, half a lamb to fill a freezer!
Someone's gonna be eating good tonight.
Did they have to name it?
never name something you're going to kill/eat
big mistake
Are we talking about Meat Money #1 or Meat Money #2: Caribbean Booty?
