Wow that's fucking sweet
Pff, one 50 cal to the hull and their trafficking days are sunk.
I want one of those!
You know what would stop shit like this from happening? Legalizing cocaine.
Just fucking give up DEA, they're winners and you'll never win.
dea is having more fun over here anyways
And the DEA huffed and puffed and BURNED YOUR VILLAGE TO THE GROUND.
next up DEA gets its own sea king heli chopters
A Seaking helicopter? They're drug lords, not Team Rocket.
Where are you getting $250,000,000 from? I'd value a ton of blow at $25m, but not $250m.
That's some cheap blow.
That's fucking awesome, I've always dreamed when I was a kid of having a personal submarine and looking at fish beneath the water
That's some cheap blow.
It gets a lot cheaper the higher you go. I've got a buddy who gets ounces for $800, so about $25000 or so for a kilo, and then times 1000 for a ton. Not especially cheap at all.
Wow. They're like an insane cross between Angus Macgyver and Orks from Warhammer 40K. :aaa:
“It was incredible to find a submarine like that,” says rear admiral Carlos Albuja
Thats what she said.
This thread is getting rather phallic.
You know what would stop shit like this from happening? Legalizing cocaine.
Then the cartels would just start selling Meth. And Meth isn't something you want to legalize. Neither is cocaine for that matter.
god just let the people smuggle and sell drugs this isnt solving anything
Then the cartels would just start selling Meth. And Meth isn't something you want to legalize. Neither is cocaine for that matter.
First, the cartels already sell meth. And why do you say it would be a bad idea to legalize meth or cocaine? If people had access to pure product, it would be safer, and the illegal market would be eliminated.

Why do you think that legalizing drugs would instantly cause all the cartels to collapse? They have the industry, money, and manpower to run a business already. Do you think that the moment that drugs are legalized the drug lords are just going to stand up and walk away saying "Oh well we had a good run"? They will just become legitimate organizations and do the same thing they are doing now.

You think cartels would make any money if they had to supply 100% pure cocaine?

Even with a massive tax on them, it will still ANNIHILATE the profit margins on importing the stuff. Force all of the narcotics to be produced domestically in order to maintain a close eye on their production. At that point the cartels will have very little edge over everyone else and will be little more than a drop in a very large production bucket.
Sorry I am dreadfully uninformed on these matters I will take both or your words on it.
[img_thumb]http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/6111/seakinghelicopter.png[/img_thumb] These?
Nope, he's talking about this. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/43/SH3H_HS15_CVW15_1995.JPEG Incoming wikipedia copypasta: The Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King (company designation S-61) is a twin-engined anti-submarine warfare (ASW) helicopter. It served with the United States Navy and other forces, and continues to serve in many countries around the world. The Sea King has been built under license in Italy and Japan, and in the United Kingdom as the Westland Sea King.

If it had been operational it probably would have been lost at sea due to running into a lost Russian sub.
Screw the coke I'll buy the sub
Actually, whenever one of these is caught by the US Coast Guard, they purposely sink the boat. Not only does all the evidence go to the bottom of the ocean, but the Coast Guard is still legally required to save them. With no physical evidence of their activities, they just get deported back to their country to get more drugs and a new boat, and try again.
It's like a real video game!
Why the DEA will never win: They lose billions as the conflict continues while the cartels make billions. They also murdered Jobs' family last year.

there's no argument I've seen that can sum up why we should continue prohibition, and a war on drugs, and what good either of those EVER provides.
