The aliens living on this planet are doing this so nobody knows they're there :tinfoil:
Yes all the light goes into their candy corn coloured horns :shot:
...
OK I'm done with Homestuck references.
But they still better call it Alternia.
All planets absorb light. So does everything. Even YOU absorb light. Even mirrors absorb a small amount of light. Black holes are special because they effectively suck surrounding light into them, creating this weird fisheye effect when they're seen:
Warped space. This is why some thing black holes are wormholes.
The confirmed home world of the average negro.
We better not land anything on the planet. It might get stolen and sold for parts. :v:
Joking aside, this is amazing. Makes me wonder what else is out there.
I want to be reborn as a space shuttle with an FTL drive that'll one day visit this planet.

Blacksimus Maximus
It steals light.

Some strange material is sitting out there and we have no clue what it is and we will never ever reach it
What is this wonderful creature?
I don't even know. It's rad as hell though.
because the galaxy has already been mapped out by astronomers with telescopes larger than their ego.
... you mean smaller than their egos?
... you mean smaller than their egos?
If there's one group of people who probably don't have huge egos, it's astronomers
I want to believe
Ok, but how many people have have went deep sea diving compared to the number of people who've been too the moon? How many people have went to the deepest depths of the ocean compared to the number that have been to deep space?
Nobody went to deep space. We can't handle it. BTW, moon =/= deep space
Dethklok actually exist for real on this planet. It shall be called Prongles the Deth World - abandon all hope ye who do not pay the entry fee upon arrival.
I've heard there is a way to go faster than light, actually. Unfortunately, there's so much energy released behind the engine that whatever's behind you (and is now really, really behind you) is utterly pwnt into the next dimension.
I'd destroy the solar system to get a chance at seeing the interior of this planet. That's probably where Dio went after he died.
