I hate when people get that wrong, therefore, I hate Apple.
Also, why get a Mac just to edit videos and music? There are programs for Windows that can do that perfectly fine.
It's all about Final Cut Pro, man.
It's okay, OP. Let's forget these guys and go play TF2 or start a 3Ds max project together or import files from an average camera using built-in software or one of the many other things I enjoy on my PC. Wait a second...
I never said i did not have a pc
Jesus, you guys are trolled easily.
It's much better to know that you've edited that shitty movie on a Hollywood-certified editing application than in iMovie or Windows Movie Maker. :v:

I got Windows 7 for free :ninja:
Because my brother is a teacher's assistant at a tech school, and he gets free software from Windows. What were you expecting?
ITT: I finally ask, Panda X what is up with your title?
Either Hezzy or Garry gave it to me years ago because I had made a few threads on Windows Longhorn.

I got it back in Christmas, when Vista still sucked and the Windows 7 beta wasn't out yet. I have the Windows 7 RC on it now. I should probably go and buy the retail version some time.

At least windows gives you a blue screen of death. Last time a mac crashed on me, I had to sit there for a while and eventually realize that it stopped working.
Actually, they do last longer physically.
The build quality is a lot better than those regular shitty plastic market computers that break on a bad gaze, and resell value is a lot better compared to PC hardware.
Resell value is a legitimate thing, but if your like me, you can reuse a lot of your PC components like DVD drives etc, or just upgrade parts of your computer. With a mac, you can't just go out and BUY a new processor to put in it yourself. No no no. You need to get a new machine entirely. You also can't just BUY another internal hard drive and put it in. There's no room. Same with DVD drives and PCI cards. It's just silly.
edit: PS: I got Windows 7 for free from my university anyway.
There are alternatives to word like Open Office.
Unlike on Macs where they specifically code the OS in such a way that basically NOTHING other than Apple products will work on it just to be fucking difficult.
Also code their apps (Itunes, quicktime, etc.) so that they are difficult on PC. God help me if I was an average joe and didn't know my screen dimensions or that I had 64 bit.
At least windows gives you a blue screen of death. Last time a mac crashed on me, I had to sit there for a while and eventually realize that it stopped working.
When a Mac gets a kernel panic, you have to wait 5 seconds for the stupid thing to fill your screen with grayness pop up. When a PC BSOD's, it just suddenly pops up. If Mac OS X is stuck with a kernel panic, you have little way of diagnosing the problem, you'll only get an error code when the system restarts and manages to get to the desktop without crashing again. With Window's BSODs, they give a code that you could look up. And both are very rare these days. Take your pick.
While we're on about the BSoD and shit: there's something more rewarding about the BSoD than Macs equivalent. Like, especially nowadays where it's quite a rarity. When you see that BSoD it's a pleasant reminder of the good ol' days, and you feel like you've really accomplished something by somehow fucking up enough to actual make it occur.
... then that all dies away and you rage because you lost a 2000 word essay because you were too fucking stupid to save it after you got into it.

Macs are overpriced, incompatible with a lot of other technologies, and plainly shit. Now what was your question?
