So because 51% of people support something that means fuck whatever the other 49% of people think?
That is how government works in the US, after all.
That is how government works in the US, after all.
That doesn't make it right.
ITT Glaber once again proves that he's stupid
That doesn't make it right.
That is true, but again, we are talking about government here; Right is whatever brings in more money.
That is true, but again, we are talking about government here; Right is whatever brings in more money.
No that's businesses.
That is true, but again, we are talking about government here; Right is whatever brings in more money.
That's the exact opposite of what the government is about. If right is what brings in more money, they'd charge you for everything. Stop at a red light? 99 cent red light tax.
No that's businesses.
Government is sort of like a business, except they have a lot of power. They provide goods and services in exchange for money and goods.
That's the exact opposite of what the government is about. If right is what brings in more money, they'd charge you for everything. Except we aren't charged for what we use, somethings are just covered. We don't pay our military how much we think they deserve, we just pay them.
We'll see about that. My vote vs your vote. You better hope you party is energized to get out the vote. Also was that poll from this year or last year?
Those polls were taken during the week of the Health Care Bill passing. Times change, this I am aware of. I wouldn't be surprised, if the Republicans put up a good candidate, that they win the Presidential election in 2012. Until the Democrats no longer control the White House, I can only assume America is Democrat majority.

Of course their leading candidate right now is Sarah Palin, so it's like they are giving up the election. If Sarah Palin is elected president, I will literally shoot her myself.
So chances are that by now, opinions have changed.
nah
That doesn't make it right.
And yet, I've seen you defend that 51% getting what they want when it's your 51%. [editline]09:43PM[/editline]
So chances are that by now, opinions have changed.
That doesn't mean they'd change in your favour. Please, for fucks sakes glaber, grow a brain and realize fox is not the ultimate source of news, and is the most biased news caster in north america.
And yet, I've seen you defend that 51% getting what they want when it's your 51%.
I honestly don't recall. I have almost no opinions that are supported by a majority.

Ron Paul 2012
He's too old.
I honestly don't recall. I have almost no opinions that are supported by a majority.
I recall it from a news thread many many months ago. Either way, the point stands, everyone defends the 51% when it's theirs, but they're never happy when it's not because they feel mis-represented. However! A public option that will save lives of people who don't have access to actually useful healthcare insurance is something that should be supported because a majority will use it and it will save lives at a minimal cost.
Ron Paul 2012
lol yeah, the guy who doesn't believe in evolution and would put the country back into a recession within two months of taking office
I'll be awaiting the news article of your capture.
The fact you think she's a good candidate is the most mind boggling part of all this.
Wait so he spends loads of money on this then finds out he can cut it by going back to public option.
lol yeah, the guy who doesn't believe in evolution and would put the country back into a recession within two months of taking office
Why does his non-belief in evolution matter? Based on what I know about Ron Paul is that he does have his own beliefs, but he isn't going to force other people to believe what he does. For example, he thinks drugs like Cocaine or Heroin can be harmful, but he believes that drugs shouldn't be illegal. Evidenced by this video: You can however disagree with this economic beliefs. I agree with most of his economic ideas, but there isn't really any hard evidence as to whether or not it'd work.
great now the state government gets to force other people what to do
It's not necessarily a bad thing. Since the federal government says that Marijuana is illegal, no state can make it legal. But if it's left to the states, I think it's fair to say that at least some of them will make it legal. So it can really work both ways. There's no way to get all states to support what you want, but there's no way for the federal government to ban what you want.
Why does his non-belief in evolution matter?
because you have to be a complete retard to say that evolution doesn't exist and his solution to every political issue is to let the state government deal with it which is basically supporting tyranny of the majority [editline]01:32AM[/editline]
It's not necessarily a bad thing. Since the federal government says that Marijuana is illegal, no state can make it legal.
some have made it legal for medicinal purposes, and the feds come in and arrest them
So chances are that by now, opinions have changed.
I find it hilarious that you actually think you're an intelligent human being.
I'll be awaiting the news article of your capture.
:patriot:
It may be there, but the ground work for it can still be undone. We don't want this, we want competition. We want multiple choices, not a government choice.
who the fuck is we?
who the fuck is we?
eVERY SINGLE AMERICAN
