• Bringing back the public option could have savings
No not 100%, but a good stinking majority none the less. Even if it's just one other person, it's still a "we". Yes, but not the Multiple choices we want. the kind of choices I speak of are if I want to get health insurance from say Illinois, Ohio, or Indiana. Today, I can't, and the companies there may have cheaper prices than what I currently have to chose from here. Do I know for sure? No. Would I like the chance to shop around and find out? Yes! The "public option" does not do this. Not only that, but why should I want the government to take care of me? If you want that kind of krud, why don't you go to where they already have it, like the UK? I don't care if you think National heath care works. Why should you force it on me or anyone else who doesn't want it? By the way, how many medical advancements come from national health programs compared to what we got here in the US?
too much stupid, not enough time... From a cursory scan of this topic, I notice that glaber either supports or just thinks Palin is a valid politician. What the hell? EDIT: Oh and he has no grasp of the healthcare issue or how polls work, etc, but that's the norm.
That poll was done in march, right? Well what about April, May or Last month? Actually, i found an up to date site on this issue http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/current_events/healthcare/health_care_law
glaber, i hate you
What else is new?
From a cursory scan of this topic, I notice that glaber either supports or just thinks Palin is a valid politician. What the hell?
Both.
Close, it's step one to that.
That's it, I can't read any more of this. You're a fucking idiot. Every single European nation that has free health care still has private health care for those so inclined. Putting in place a system to keep alive those who otherwise can't afford it will not get rid of the private option.

Bush campaign.[18] According to Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight.com, while there are no apparent records of Scott Rasmussen or Rasmussen Reports making contributions to political candidates and its public election polls are generally regarded as reliable, "some observers have questioned its issue-based polling, which frequently tends to elicit responses that are more conservative than those found on other national surveys."[19]
Uh-huh.
Both.
Do you realize how ignorant and retarded you are? Have you ever wondered why everybody hates you? Have you ever sat down and had a serious think about your life and your views, and wondered why every disagrees with you and thinks you're an absolute fucktard? Have you looked past what your retarded Fox News and other right-wing bullshit sites shield over your eyes, and actually thought on your own and formed your own opinion based on actual logic? Or are you just too goddamn fucking retarded to understand how backwards-minded, idiotic and ignorant you are? I'm seriously sick of all your posts. You are easily one of the worst posters here on Facepunch, and you sure as hell don't deserve your Gold status. [editline]06:27PM[/editline] Please, go lay down on your bed and think to yourself "hey, maybe I really am an idiot and I've been blinded by bullshit all my life". Admitting you have a problem is the first step.

Half of the topics you post in this goddamn forum are just conservative opinion pieces shat out by Fox News, and the rare non Fox centered topic is usually still either barely news, an opinion piece, or just plain wrong. Every goddamn time you post your opinion in a topic it starts up a flame war, because your opinions are always "hurpa durp obama bad conservative good damn liberals". You just shit up ITN constantly. EDIT: and you never fucking post anything positive, or bipartisan, or not even biased. It's always "____ is going to hell because of liberals/obama". The rare positive piece is just praise for something some conservative did. And it's not just your opinions that make you terrible. I disagree with some people on this board, Emperor Scorpious and Gunfox, for example, but I still like them because they have a reason for their opinions, and backing for it. You have nothing to hold up your ideas. Here, see: "Bad things are happening to democrats: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=973866 " "Look, liberals lied to us: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=972970 " "Look, liberals lied to us: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=973557 " "Look, Biden lied to us: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=972063 " "BUT HE ISN'T LYING BECAUSE HE SUPPORTS MY AGENDA EVEN THOUGH HE LIED BEFORE: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=972388 " "Unions are bad: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=972710 " "OBAMA'S A SOCIALIST: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=967504 " And do you know what? That's all in pages 1-5. I think that's all but 2-3 of your topics in that range.
Glaber, look at your political believes Now back at mine Now back at your's Now back at mine... Sadly, they aren't mine But if you stopped being such a narcissistic overtly aggressive conservative Ideologue, they could be like mine. Seriously, consider swan diving into a moment of clarity here.
because you have to be a complete retard to say that evolution doesn't exist and his solution to every political issue is to let the state government deal with it which is basically supporting tyranny of the majority [editline]01:32AM[/editline] some have made it legal for medicinal purposes, and the feds come in and arrest them
I think you've just contradicted yourself. You're saying that all states are evil, and the federal government should do everything. Then in the next sentence you say that some states did something good, and the evil feds are arresting people for possessing marijuana. The reason why I support giving the states more power is because if you give the federal government the power to do whatever the fuck they want to all 50 states, they have the power to do something incredibly stupid and no state can do anything about it. So if the federal government suddenly makes marijuana legal across all states, they have the power to do something retarded like the PATRIOT Act. I still don't think States are the best solution, but they're a step up from a central authority.
only reason I oppose socialized healthcare is due to the mass amount of people that are able to cheat their ways onto the disabled lists and onto welfare. I shouldn't have to pay higher taxes in order to make sure they are healthy whilst they are leeching off of government programs. I can understand paying for those that really need it but since Welfare and the Disabled systems are so fucked up in the U.S anyone with half a brain could get themselves onto those lists and receive federal aid up the ass.
yes some people will know how to work the system. That doesn't justify not giving it to the people who need health care.

One was the shitty predecessor to the constitution that failed because states couldn't agree with each other and made us weak and the other was caused because states had too much power. A strong, central government is needed to make us more united so we can live up to our name.

Your poll isn't compatible with mine: while my poll represents the satisfaction of Americans with the new health care system, yours focuses mainly on the price of said system. Americans expecting the price of health care to go up may or may not expect health care to improve, so the poll is irrelevant to my point, (although still valid if you want to have an argument with someone else.) http://www.gallup.com/poll/4708/healthcare-system.aspx This is coming from the same source as the two graphs from March, earlier this year, and shows that public opinion of the reform has actually improved since then, as of June: 49% of Americans are happy that the bill was passed.

Glaber is either a troll or Glen Beck, because no one can possibly be that stupid otherwise.
