lol fuck no. Pepper spray is great. It can clear a rowdy bar in seconds. Its the only tool I've seen that can make a full-grown man on roids scream for his mother instantly. Its probably the worst experience of your life if you hit with it though.
Pepper spray is great. This: is not so great.
I was speaking to a police officer and he said the taser is safer than the CS gas (pepper spray). [editline]29th March 2013[/editline]
Pepper spray is great as long as cops don't use it like this:
paprika spray. [editline]29th March 2013[/editline] I'll elaborate on the pepper spray v taser issue. The police wouldn't use the taser on an elderly person for risk of causing a heart attack, on a younger person, it is safe. Pepper spray can cause an allergic reaction or an asthma attack which is potentially lethal, the chances or that are more likely than causing a heart attack with a taser.
water based pepper spray? So the active ingredient is water?
Water is pretty scary shit why, I saw someone have purified water dumped on them, their fucking face just... melted off! Just like that!
Archimedes' Heat Ray used the Sun to burn enemy ships
Mythbusters tested that 3 times every time it was a true failure
They also "proved" a plane could take off with no forward motion. They're not always right, you know...
Using mirrors to burn a boat in water isn't nearly the same thing as breaking physics they're a hell of a lot more right than you.
They also "proved" a plane could take off with no forward motion. They're not always right, you know...
no forward motion relative to ground the conveyor belt was moving backwards therefore the plane was moving forwards stick to things that don't involve science since you've been wrong twice in one thread
no forward motion relative to ground the conveyor belt was moving backwards therefore the plane was moving forwards stick to things that don't involve science since you've been wrong twice in one thread
Do you understand the purpose of wings?
The TSA is just like one giant bad joke at this point
Do you understand the purpose of wings?
Do you understand that the engine is not powering the wheels, and thus are irrelevant to the plane taking off? Mythbusters were right on that.
Do you understand that the engine is not powering the wheels, and thus are irrelevant to the plane taking off? Mythbusters were right on that.
I explained this like 4 posts ago. The engines are there to move wind over the wings.
Do you understand the purpose of wings?
They generate lift from the air moving around them. Guess what engines do move air around the wings
It's like they found what looks like a gun so they shoot it to make sure
They generate lift from the air moving around them. Guess what engines do move air around the wings
They don't move near enough air to do that. And, even if they did, it would make no sense for the wings to be as long as they are. Engines and propellers push air backwards, which pulls the plane and the wings forward. The plane being pulled forward puts air past the wings, which results in lift. The propeller is not a fan to blow wind over the wings. Some dumb shits once took pepper spray to class. "Let's spray it out of the window, what could go wrong!" There was backdraft. Everyone was choking the whole following class.
http://blog.xkcd.com/2008/09/09/the-goddamn-airplane-on-the-goddamn-treadmill/ Now shut up about the goddamn plane.
I hope they all go blind.
They generate lift from the air moving around them. Guess what engines do move air around the wings
You got it backwards, the propeller of an airplane is itself an airfoil like the wings, but it does not generate the air current to provide lift over the wings. The propeller pulls or pushes the plane forward and that forward movement runs air over the wings which generates lift. Jets are no different, the engines push the plane forward, there are many many different kinds of jet engines but they all have that one thing in common. The only way a plane can take off without any ground speed is if the wind speed is high enough. If the plane is pointed into the wind and the wind speed is high enough then the plane can indeed take off and appear to float in mid air for as long as the plane's ground speed remains 0. Course we're talking extreme wind here, you'd have to have some serious balls or a death wish to try flying in that.
Did the TSA ever actually find something like a bomb?
They are turning against each other...
Pepper spray should be phased out. It can cause permanent eye damage.
Only if you rub your eyes. Kent Police use PAVA. Much more effective (85% of people affected) and less likely to damage the eye. Still tell those we use it against to not rub their eyes and the effects will pass though.
Did the TSA ever actually find something like a bomb?

WASHINGTON D.C. — In a troubling sign that investigators may be getting bored with their success smuggling guns and knives onto airplanes, the U.S. Department of Transportation today disclosed that its agents have recently cleared airport security checkpoints with an M1 tank, a beluga whale, and a fully active South American volcano.
http://www.satirewire.com/content1/?p=168
So can staring at the sun. Should we phase out the sun?
this man right here he's got "chief of security" written alllll over him tsa should hire him right now.
That's like blowing into an envelope to figure out if it's flour or anthrax :v:
(First few seconds)
