If i really need to explain to you how the US isnt even close to being as bad as NK then you are either trolling or just flat out ignorant
You literally responded to a post where I said it was a comparison about funding terrorists. That IS the same
Yeah pal USA just as bad as north korea you got us
Given how the USA routinely supplies hundreds of billions of dollars worth of weapons to a radical Sunni state you could argue that they're even worse than NK from a pure numbers perspective, but that's a separate conversation. Obviously there's no equivalence between the USA and NK, but there's nothing but massive hypocrisy in labeling other countries terror states when you yourself are arming a terror state.
Plenty of European countries sell weapons to Middle East countries regularly too, guess they're all worse than North Korea right?
well in a sence they are - a devil you know is better then a devil you don't. They regullary stand up in spotlight proposing high values, while doing bad stuff in shadow simultaneously, all without losing face or facing backlash.
Plenty of European countries sell weapons to Middle East countries regularly too, guess they're all worse than North Korea right?
It's so funny how all Americans in this thread interpret the US being bad for supporting terrorism as being worse than North Korea. It doesn't need to be worse than another country. It's a bad thing on it's own. Stop comparing it to others. [editline]21st November 2017[/editline] You're sounding like a bunch of kids: "B-b-but Timmy hit me first!"
I think it's alright to say that a country with a crazed dictator that has nukes is something worthy of attention.
While I agree, the reasons behind this from this administration are not being done for valid reasons such as caring about the fucked up shit they do.
While I agree, the reasons behind this from this administration are not being done for valid reasons such as caring about the fucked up shit they do.
Making covert sales of dual-use US equipment harder to NK is a completely valid reason. It has happened before and it should be prevented by any available means for the sake of South Korea's security. To reiterate on the example I posted earlier: it's not just a few light helis that got smuggled there. Paint those black and they'd look almost exactly like the ones SK operates, so they'd be perfect to covertly deploy special forces into the country, preceding an invasion. Dangerous stuff.
America literally funded and trained Osama Bin Laden during the Soviet war in Afghanistan.
No we didn't, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia did, we just gave guns and money to the mujahideen through Pakistan who acted as an intermediary.
Except i wasnt replying to your comment, also i never said the US has never done anything wrong but until you can PROVE that we have death camps, shoot anyone that tries to leave the country, are currently threatening countries with nuclear war, and have public executions then my previous comment still stands. We are NOWHERE even close to being as bad as them, also the UK is no saint when it comes to sponsored terrorism, sorry to break your heart on that one
When was the UK mentioned by anyone in this thread (other than this being a bbc article)? Take off your nationalism goggles for a second. No one is saying we are as bad as NK, just that our polititions are hypocrites.
