So my provider will now be AT&T?
I'm guessing they'd probably form a parent company for the two/collective companies, so you wouldn't have to have a new one. Might be wrong.
So, do antitrust laws just not apply to telecoms at all? When did we decide that?
When everyone realized that pretty much every cellphone provider is ripping you off at every turn anyway.
When everyone realized that pretty much every cellphone provider is ripping you off at every turn anyway.
Remind me why we have to pay for voice, text, and data seperately when it's all just data anyway? Also, fuck AT&T. Apple should not have the right to pick and choose what apps people can have. Posted from my overpriced Verizon phone.

But yeah, I don't get how they can get away with charging such obscene amounts for cell phone service.
luckily, this buy still has to be approved by the FCC or whatever. it might not actually go through, because they are beginning to resemble a monopoly. (if the buy goes through, we won't see changes for another year anyways)
Hopefully this will make AT&T's service better. Not that it is that bad, it is better than Verizon (in my area at least).
Ponies related posts outside of their confined thread should be bannable.
Agreed. Also jesus fuck that's a lot of money.
Don't expect T-Mobile to nominally exist much longer. I remember when AT&T acquired Cingular wireless back in 04 or 05. Took just a few months for Cingular to practically disappear.
fuck man t-mobile was my cheapest option i'm going back to fucking carrier pigeons fuck that
Wait, Sprint was supposed to acquire T-Mobile. What the hell happened?
Been an AT&T customer forever. Don't know what the fuss is about. Coverage, Speed, Service, etc. are all excellent.
If this goes through man :[ I love T-Mo GodTier Service for me.
Cool, I love AT&T
Fuck. I just got off AT&T to get away from their shit.
there's always claro bitches i sometimes don't get full bars with t mobile in my own room...
I stick with Sprint because it's unlimited everything. Not this tiered data shit, or overage charges. I love my HTC Evo.
I was really looking forward to switching to T-Mobile next year some time...goddamn it. Fuck no, I am NOT going with AT&T. I get better coverage in my bomb-shelter school (0 bars) than at my goddamn house with them.
How long before every single corporation merges together?
I used to have a T MOBILE plan. Glad i changed to Verizon last year.
Great. Now I'll have to pay for fucking data on my android phone.
Aw hell naw, I loved T-Mobile because it didn't always want to fuck me in the ass. Guess I'll go buy some lube now.
t-mobile charged me 45 dollars because i accidentally loaded ONE webpage without a prompt that data wasn't on my plan fucking fascists, verizon is way better.
This is why I am switching to verizon. At&t has very shitty service, it's almost like a joke.
we have five cell phones on an at&t plan and haven't had any issues at all we switched from t-mobile because of the terrible service. we couldn't even get service in our house.
What about google's partnership with T-Mobile? What will happen there?
fuck man t-mobile was my cheapest option i'm going back to fucking carrier pigeons fuck that
:v:
How long before every single corporation merges together?
I hope the main one would be Google, seriously, they can take over the world, I don't mind.
Well this is good news for me. I don't have to deal with T Mobile's brain aneurysm-inducing website anymore.

That's what I pay for gas and that's just a fraction of the charge!

It seems to me that with AT&T there's two levels of service: 1. :krad: 2. SoL WHERE DID KICKIN RAD GO?!

I live in the Boston area and my service is great, HSPA everywhere, normally the signal is above -90dBm and signaling rates upwards of 14 asm.
