Age of Empires IV (at least I hope).
Problaby will be games that you need to download from the Windows Store. If so then GTFO.
MTM3 was the bomb! Shame they never released MTM4 with Xbox 360. Even just having it in the arcade would be pretty awesome. Here's hoping they bring MTM4 to the One and PC.
Darn, I still have my 2003 copy of MTM3 :( sadly I can't play it as it's incompatible with the 360.
What are they talking about, does Windows 8 not have Solitaire or what?
Of course it does, I was playing dark souls just the other day [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/W6bBW.jpg[/thumb] in other news, this is fucking awesome if it's true. I'm kinda getting tired of consoles because some of my favourite games have just stopped working out of the blue due to discs being unreliable dicks
If MS goes through with this I can safely say I'll start emptying my wallet for them. [editline]22nd November 2013[/editline]
If Halo 3 came to steam, I wonder if it'd be as alive as it was during its' Xbox 360 heydey. I know I could use some Jenga Tower and Predator.
It's still really easy to find a game on Halo 3 on the 360. Halo 2 also. The only reason H2 Vista is so underpopulated is because it was a really fucking garbage port.
it's pretty obvious what this is. they're going to have to compete with Steam OS, and they still have millions of people they need to convince to switch to windows 8. so probably what they'll do is release a few big name titles for a year or two that are either windows 8 exclusive or basically another BF4 situation where actually playing the game on windows 7 is like playing crysis 3 on a wii.

I'd heard/thought that it was dying out, also why I've never gotten a 360 back. If it's still alive, then I sure do hope it comes to steam; and even if it doesn't I might just get a 360 for it anyway, since i still have a ton of games bought on arcade. Competition like this is good. In the end, considering GfWL is dead, we win with this, whether or not it was only done to combat StOS. I doubt that they will pull the "Win8 only" shit like they did with Vista, and even if they did there would probably be a workaround.
Queue the Windows 8 store exclusives!
It's not like it matters though. Competition like this is good, it's the entire concept behind our economy system. In the end, considering GfWL is dead, we're going to win, whether or not it was only done to combat StOS
it does matter because most people would probably read this and think they're just generally going to support the PC platform. to do this you would generally try to release your games to be as pleasing to as many people as possible. on PC this would mean releasing on steam, supporting mods, limited/no DRM etc. which isn't the case. they're only going to support the microsoft/xbox live platform using PC devices.
also isnt fable 3 on steam?
Unfortunately. It uses GFWL and it took me 2 hours to get it to run with gfwl constantly trying to stop me, then when I got to coop i noticed how awful the game was and stopped playing.
If Dead Rising 3 came to PC that would be great.

You bet your ass it's still populated.
Screw Halo. I want Fable 2 and anniversary. We got quite enough brown copy-paste shooters to go around.
How does that describe halo in the slighest?
Please make a true successor to AoE2
Please make a true successor to AoE2
Cr age of mythology 2. Could fit in some Eastern and Native American views for new factions, in addition to Greeks, Egyptians and Norse. (not sure about Atlantians, they were just fairly OP tbh)
I want me some Killer Instinct for my Pc That would be great if you ask me
age of mythology
brb passing out from nostalgia.
FREELANCER 2, MOTHERFUCKER
Halo 3 is the last great Halo game multiplayer wise. You bet your ass it's still populated.
Reach was also pretty fun, don't know how big it still is.
I'm kind of hoping for Perfect Dark and Perfect Dark Zero PC ports, really. Y'all can keep your Halo 3.
Fable Anniversary PC pls plspls
To be honest I would actually upgrade to Windows 8 if Microsoft would release a bunch of good Windows 8 exclusive games. Of course it would be even better if they also worked on Windows 7, but I feel like expecting that would just leave me disappointed.
I'm kind of hoping for Perfect Dark and Perfect Dark Zero PC ports, really. Y'all can keep your Halo 3.
oh god yes I wouldnt have to struggle with the pd 1964 mouse injector
Reach was also pretty fun, don't know how big it still is.
I'd prefer reach tbh, it was my favourite in the halo series so far. The halo universe is like a time period of immense suffering for humanity with constant war and civilians being slaughtered en masse, and in most of the game's it's a hilarious slap fest where you just punch aliens in the face with no consequences :v: In halo reach they at least tried to capture some of the darkest moments of humanity with your squad mates biting the dust constantly as well as massive human casualties all over the place
Give us Halo 3 Microsoft, please.
And fix the broken crosshairs as well
I want me some Killer Instinct for my Pc That would be great if you ask me
With the recent surge of PC fighting games that may well be a possibility.
I REALLY hope this means Dead Rising 3 comes to PC at some point. Halo 3 on PC would be nice too.
Of course it does, I was playing dark souls just the other day
Always relevant
Does this mean Halo 5 will come out on PC? But more importantly, Halo 3 should come out on PC (along with an SDK) because Halo was way better when Bungie was busy working on the trilogy.
