That, only that Word is more important than IE, a lot more important (FF is better than IE anyways, but you can hardly find stuff better than Word).
It's the principal that counts.
Why are you people worried about Word going away? They are just going to make it so Word cannot be used to open XML.
I make mods for a game called Freelancer, Well, i used too, and it used some XML
open office also violates this "patent"
Open Office is free, so I don't think it does.
This isn't local laws, this is the patent holder of the XML file format suing Microsoft for Word using that format.
I was refering to the whole W7 thing when Microsoft got sued for breaking EU monopoly laws.
Age of empires should come with all copies of windows.
A Texas judge ruled Tuesday that Microsoft cannot sell Word
One word, Texas.
One word, Texas.
Ye Haw!
I'm gonna make an image format and sue anyone who will try to make their programs compatible with it.
Can someone please post the link to the original article?
and i4i actually sells XML products for Word, making that company reliant on the ecosystem
Is i4i trying to make themselves go bankrupt? Microsoft should just discontinue support for xml and watch i4i kill itself just for the laughs.
Can someone please post the link to the original article?
It's in the OP.
that judge will need to use spell check sooner or later
Ye Haw!
He forgot Engineers. And if Mircosoft can't sell Words, I bet they want their harsh sentence rephrased.
Age of empires should come with all copies of windows.
Fuck yes. Could always bundle the original as one of the included arcade-ish games.
WTF is going on! No word for the US and rumours of having to pay to download Internet Explorer for Windows 7!
I am trying to automerge my posts but you motherfuckers are the ones who post too fast.
Shall I assist him by licking your shoes clean while you type? Maybe kill the other posters milord?
I was laughing at Microsofts legal team for not paying attention to local laws.
That isn't how it works.
