That's fucking horrible.
Nice to see that taxpayers paying for abortions is bad but taxpayers paying for people to be executed is ok.
You are everything that is wrong with this country. Just because someone labels themselves a group doesn't mean that what they are doing is what every single person wants, or what anyone wants for that matter.
1) Don't live in your country, thankfully. 2) You're right, HOWEVER, the fucking party line is following this shit. If you support the party, you support this because this is what the party is going for.
You are everything that is wrong with this country. Just because someone labels themselves a group doesn't mean that what they are doing is what every single person wants, or what anyone wants for that matter.
Voting for someone in a political election is pretty much complete support for someone, their beliefs, and their actions. Unless of course they abuse their new-found power, in which case apathy to it is support. And I don't see republicans rioting in the streets about how their representatives double-crossed them. [editline]29th January 2011[/editline]
So long as any woman can have any man she wants charged with a felony, labeled a sex offender and sent to prison with nothing but a tearful testimony, I'm fine with this.
Yeah damn wimmin
You are everything that is wrong with this country
I didnt know humanabyss was heart diseases and a failing economy?
Hey, dj0wns, do you vote republican? I'll assume yes for the sake of argument. Do you support this individual thing? I'll say no for the sake of argument. Are you rioting that your party isn't following you and your peoples ideals? I'll say no for the sake of argument. Do you support this? Why yes in fact you do support this. Still waiting dj0wns. Gotta have something less useless to say than your last few posts.
How about a real source? And why aren't you guys asking for a source, as well? Or is one not needed to bash conservatives?
Mother Jones is a good source, it's liberal biased but it's reputable and factual. Not like, say, HuffPo. And you're conservative, how about you defend this instead of writing it off as bashing?
Mother Jones is a good source, it's liberal biased but it's reputable and factual. Not like, say, HuffPo. And you're conservative, how about you defend this instead of writing it off as bashing?
He can't defend it.
He can't defend it.
He's gotta have something. If not him, then one of the other ITN neo-cons. I can see it being defensible if you take the position that abortion is murder in any case and morally wrong, I guess. Not logical but consistent.
Doing it to make abortions harder to get is bullshit. I do however hope that there is some solid definition of rape. I'm tired of women that sleep with guys at parties and then go tell their boyfriends that they got raped. You obviously didn't, you wanted to do it, had a lapse of judgement, and now you're too much of a bitch to face your mistakes so you go blame it on someone else. And then that 'someone else' gets several years of jail time and a sex offender record.
Oh I see what they're doing. They're putting a dividing line between statutory rape (which you can get if you have sex with a minor, i.e. she's 16 and you're 18), and forcible rape. It's still fucking stupid though. Women should have the right to get an abortion. if she's pregnant, that means she's heavier and slower, so my sandwiches take twice as long to get to me.
In the UK at least the rape conviction rate is about 6%, and one of the reasons for this is that a man having sex with a woman just as drunk as him is considered the same as grabbing some girl off the streets and having sex with her at knifepoint in a dark alley. A restructuring of rape laws would help conviction rates a lot.
I wouldnt mind if they just wanted to change the definition of rape for the soul perpose of doing so because I understand doing a drunk girl and using a knife on someone are 2 different things. But they are doing it for a bad reason just so they could have an edge on the abortion thing.
The GOP: Stepping on women and minorities because it saves us money!
The GOP: Stepping on women and minorities because it saves us money!
Economy>freedom

How the hell can the people who support it sleep at night?
Economy>freedom
except the effects of this on the economy are the same as me taking a shit. absolutely nothing.
Economy>freedom
Unfortunately its pretty obvious the GOP is not doing this just because it saves them money, but because its one of those long-term things that have ticked them off. It's almost like a half-lie. Yeah it's kind of true but it's still a lie.
I actually feel nauseous because of this (I don't really, but i'm still sickened emotionally by it). All this is is a plot to cover the asses of those high-class demons that believe that the universe owes them and that they truly have the right to do anything (and in this case, anyONE) they desire, regardless of outside sentiments. Y'know, I hope something happens that causes those Republican/Conservative peoples to end up being exiled from power, for crimes against freedom and humanity. There was once a time when I truly believed in conspiracy, and it feels like i'm starting to believe again. I just hope it's just a sleep-deprived gut anxiety, and not a subconcious hinting towards something bigger and darker.

You know you're government is fucked up when their "top priority" is something retarded like this.
And of course their solution to stopping rape from ever happening is for everyone to believe in the christian god... the catholic church sure did well on that. This kind of stuff is sickening, just sickening.
Yeah because rape before wasn't about being forced.
So wait, is date-rape still rape?
So wait, is date-rape still rape?
If she's unconscious then she can't say no, eh? :q: :smith:
I hate my Government.
At times I wish we the people were more like the Egyptians in Egypt right now. They're in the streets, while not peacefully, are trying to get something done actively. We on the other hand continue to let government screw us over.

Hey guys, this actually happened. Seriously.
And this is what pisses me off the most. They went in on the platform of economic reform and they pull this bullshit? I still can't see why these people get voted into office again and again.
i heard a rumor that when you are elected into something like congress, you are forced to vote with the majority of your party, or everything you bring up will be shot down instantaneously
I'll post for him. "Abortion is murder and the right to live supersedes the right to not have to experience the pain of childbirth. In fact, the constitution does not say that women have the right to any abortions at all. And as we know, the government allowing or doing something that is not expressly written in the constitution is unconstitutional! I think we need to ban all abortions or fall to the tyranny of socialism."
It begins with abortion and it ends with socialism. Somebody tell them the cold war is over, please.
