But they still try to desperately shift the blame on Ukraine and besides they still haven't paid for the lives of those passengers.

Mostly because the former was caused by a nation's army adhering to protocols, while the second one was caused by some rebels

Yeah and? All I was doing was correcting one of his points, nothing else.
Pretty sure no one should be defending the rebels for shooting down a plane, and I'm not sure anyone is. It was a decision that required a lot of input from experienced operators of the rockets vehicle, it wasn't a trigger happy accident. While it may have been an accident in that they did not intend to shoot down a passenger plane that day, it was deliberate negligence that resulted in them firing at the plane. Or at least, that's what I am led to believe.
