But they did that with their anti-tank guns, towed by horses, not with the horses.
No, many military theorists believe that the cavalry could have easily took out tanks. Some germans confirmed that they were charged but many dismiss it as a myth.

How could cavalry take out tanks? Stomp them? Unless you mean that they captured them? But isn't the top shaft on the tank lockable?
they were too busy with co-ordinated dance and singing to disarm the weapons
this should be the Us navy's theme song

if you can get to a tank before you get shot, you can do several things to disable it
And sucsesfully took out a few tanks while they were at it.

Why were they cleaning weapons that were loaded?

they always need to be loaded in case they're attacked but i agree he should probably remove the box or belt before cleaning.

cavalry wasn't just guys on horses with swords and pistols. cavalry was armed with carbines and generally more than one small field mortar they could dismount and use against enemies, as well as anti-tank rifles and sometimes rocket artillery.
This made me think of how WW1 started.
You know, one shot and bam the whole world starts trenching.

That was a planned assassination, not a random gun shot into a port.

I know, but if I wanted to be serious about history there wouldn't be sexually suggestive "invade this" on Mussolini's shirt.
But if this keeps up a dubya dubya too fight will break out between history buffs and armchair generals.
Just as planned.
lol. Guess what? Britain held out the entire war :)
zing!
About Polish Cavalry : the tanks engaged them from behind , then they ran away , they didn't charge to tanks like these damn muslims.
About the attack on WW2 : Atleast we we're alone , stranded by our allies when we we're fighthing against entire massive hitler army , not like that damn England.
Ontopic : Why the hell other countries like to shoot our ports :( .

Semper Fidelis is Latin for "Always Faithful". Well known in the United States of America as the motto of the United States Marine Corps (and often shortened to Semper Fi in Marine contexts), Semper fidelis has served as a slogan for many families and entities, in many countries, dating at least as far back as the 14th century. Within the groups below, users are listed in chronological order according to when they are believed to have adopted the motto; however, in many cases dates of adoption are not well established.

Explosives can destroy the tracks and various other methods are used to destroy tanks. Think of them as giant slow moving hunks of metal.
To be fair Britain is an Island nation pretty far from Germany, wheras poland is right fucking next door.

with machine guns and plenty of infantry near it. there's a reason why cavalry weren't used very much in ww2, and when they were, they were slaughtered
