The Nerve! Police Return Seized Hardware to Victorious BitTorrent Admin, Trashed

TBH those systems don't look like very high end stuff.
Sure they deserve something in return but it's not like they trashed multi million dollar supercomputers
Most cops are the worst people at seizing personal goods, a Cop broke my airsoft gun and said, "Hah, well you aren't using this one anymore!" My friend recorded it and I brought it up in small claims court for improper handling of my personal belongings during a search. Got reimbursed for the price of the gun. This guy shouldn't have a problem getting paid in full for the damages, hell he may even get paid more because this sounds incredibly personal.
How the hell does this sound personal?

If you think that all the damage done to the guys stuff was an accident, then you're a moron.
PAYBACK TIME!
They put you in court? Now, time to revert it!
Even if what he was doing was not something "good", what they've done was COMPLETELY childish.
The audio clip gets really creepy sounding.
This is an accurate representation of what happened after his hardware was seized:

My first impression was that the cops probably trashed the stuff because it's so outdated, and assumed it was garbage.
Wow, these cops are assholes.
Never touch a man's junk :colbert:

those cops should be imprisoned v:v:v
i say it jokingly, but theres people in prison for less.

im sure shitting inside the case then leaving it out in the rain for a week was also part of the warez detection process

So you're not going to mind if someone comes over to your place, takes all your electronics, leaves the place in a mess and then gives it back in pieces? I mean it's probably only a couple of hundred bucks of stuff, no biggie.

That just be open case, remove drives, close case. These look like they were completely taken apart then someone half assed putting it all back.
