Alright guys let's take a look at this from an unbiased point of perspective. Obama isn't great, but Bush wasn't either. Personally, without me having any favor over either of them, I'd say that Obama just inherited what Bush did. And Bush inherited what he did in his first term. It's not really which party is the best, it's which actions really speak compared to what any president promised. Plus, you have to understand Obama doesn't have almighty power, the bills he comes up with have to go through congress. I think that the Republicans are butthurt, but the Obama loving Democrats are just fanboys cause he's remotely black.
It's the issues people, issues.

I like both a lot, TR's foreign policy was not so hot but everything else was great.
Worst president ever = Hoover.
I suppose everyone forget about George Bush Jr. then, eh?
Anyway, Obama isn't necessarily horrible, he just runs his mouth and promises things he can't do. He's not bad, just not very competent.
first, you explain why he is good.
that's not how it works
you said he was bad so YOU explain why he's bad
Also, on topic, Obama's not great but not the worst. He's been pretty shitty about continuing Bush's expansion/abuse of executive powers and support for privacy-invading stuff like the Patriot act, though.
We don't need national healthcare. It's going to increase our taxation on the people. The middle class is shrinking very rapidly. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Out of all the people who do not have healthcare, most admitted they could afford it, but didn't want to recieve it. The old system of private insurances providing healthcare to it's clients worked just fine.
On the war on terror, why should we pull out? We're the only things keeping the taliban, al-quada, the average jihadist from taking back Iraq, and Afghanhistan. The Iraqi, and Afghani goverments aren't ready yet to handle things, and the US forces in the middle east are protecting the population. Yea, innocent people have died, but unfortunatley innocents die in war. Looked what happened in Vietnam. Right after the we pulled out of Vietnam. Within months the NVA over ran the South Vietnamese Army. They weren't ready yet, and if pull out now the same thing will happen and the terrorists will again gain power.
How are high taxes good? If anything taxes should be kept low. If taxes are low the citizens have more to spend. If they have more to spend companies start to get money and with that money the start to gain stability. They use that money to hire new workers, and inturn the population gets that money back in the form of a paycheck. It would boost the economy, and local economies. If we tax the population and businesses both have less to spend, and give back to the workforce. The population's flow of money dwidles down to the point where the companies tart to lose money. If the companies start to lose money they lay off workers and if it continues the economy grinds to a halt with no flow of money from the consumer to the provider, back to the consumer.
This is my opinion if you don't agree with it too bad.
Except rich people live in luxury, while poor people might be able to afford health insurance, but would rather save up for retirement or whatnot.
Seriously, you must know how income tax brackets work. People who make millions a year should be forced to pay for the poor, since it's the poor people who pay their wages, whether it be employees working for a company or people going to movies/buying CDs/whatnot, in the end, everyone has done their fair-share of work, and there should be a greater equality in how the different classes are treated.
Also, why should we help Iraqis/Afghanis if we can't help ourselves, the war on terror has bankrupted America, quite literally.
Apparently Abe Lincoln wasn't too hot either.

Andrew Jackson was by far the worst president ever.
Andrew Jackson was by far the worst president ever.
I think we can all agree the two worst presidents were Jackson and Bush Jr.

Saying W sucked? What have you done with the real gmod_fan?
Andrew Jackson was by far the worst president ever.
What about Andrew Johnson?

nope
What about Andrew Johnson?
Oh man I forgot about Johnson, that guy was a piece of shit. Petty as hell and he fucked up Reconstruction something awful.
EDIT: I mean seriously, his policy towards reconciliation with Confederates was something like "You get an automatic pardon unless you're worth more than $25,000 or owned more than X amount of slaves." and he made those kind of people literally beg and grovel to him for a pardon all because his family was poor in the antebellum south and rich plantation owners pissed him off
/rant about 150 year old president

I bet this same guy said that bush was the best president we've ever had. Jeez!
Saying W sucked? What have you done with the real gmod_fan?
I've always said Dubya sucked.
What about Andrew Johnson?
Johnson was just a poor idiot who didn't realize that trying to get reconstruction over with without punishing the south for seceeding would get him eaten alive by his own party. Everyone kind of sucked during reconstruction. Even his successor, Grant.
Richard Nixon by miles... Was the best president :smug:
Give the man some slack, I mean look at the mess he walked into when he took up office.

This is why I have some sympathy for Johnson.
His intentions were good, but he was given an extremely bad image due to his compassion with the South. When Grant got elected, things went from bad to worse, and the South went under more of a military occupation than a Reconstruction.

Agreed.
Many of his promises that he broke were broke because of Congress' jackassery or the Senate's incompetence hindering his efforts. He's dealing with two highly corrupt governing bodies, an angry populace, and a huge-ass mess left behind by Dubya. The odds are completely stacked.
You're only as good as the things you do.
Doesn't matter what he wants to do, it's what he does.
The worst president in history is always the current one
lol Dan Quayle
Just bring Bill Clinton back i mean he is what i picture when i think about us presidents.
Guess most people today think about 9/11, terrorism and George Bush lol.

I just love having racist slave owners as presidents
:smugdog:
Grant was a was corrupt, Fillmore, Taylor, and Pierce helped slavery greatly and contributed to the civil war. Harding. Well, you just need to read about him. Buchanan didn't do jack shit about the insurgents in the south that started the confederacy. Obama is no where close to the worst.
He has put the country trillions more in debt, failed to fix the economy, failed in Iraq and Afghanistan, failed to close Guantanamo Bay, and failed to complete his other promises. Yet somehow he has got a Nobel Peace Prize.
The president seems to have the idea that if you through money at something it will fix itself.
