Look Guys as another thread I said, even though this guys has done selective editing, they have enough actual evidence for a Terrorsim charge.
Look Guys as another thread I said, even though this guys has done selective editing, they have enough actual evidence for a Terrorsim charge.
O'Keefe has done some scummy things, but even with ACORN the judges concluded that the employers should probably fire some of the employees for misconduct and O'Keefe was on trial for how he conducted his investigation by phone tampering rather than the actual content. Not to mention his previous releases got those two DNC guys fired and it doesn't seem like he falsified the content that incriminated them. Take him with a grain of salt all day, but this content is very incriminating even with a microscope on the editing. The handling by the DisruptJ20 members involved just paint them as absolute idiots.
This is just childish if its true fucking wow
Basically this is the real question no one is answering. It's just so stupid for DisruptJ20 to incriminate themselves like this. Especially with "faking" something so incriminating like unleashing Buytric acid in ventilation systems that could get them a Terrorism charge.
Incriminate themselves how? Unless authorities can uncover any material evidence, then they have no grounds for charges
Incriminate themselves how? Unless authorities can uncover any material evidence, then they have no grounds for charges
It is incriminating yourself, even if you go into the situation knowing the person is journalist and using false information, to spout off specifics on how you would carry off a gas attack. And now with their statement confirming the video isn't falsified, but they were just "pranking." They will most likely have to go to court and try to prove it was all an elaborate joke. Basically had they just ignored the "obvious" undercover journalist, they wouldn't have incriminated themselves.
Obviously doing it for the show. Real activists use actual bombs.

amateur hour over on the DC Anti-Fascist Coalition email group
I'm pretty sure both parties are probably scummy and stupid beyond belief. However, I know for a fact that James "skew it and spew it" O'Keefe is a lying bag of shit so I'm willing to give DisruptJ20 the benefit of "innocent until proven guilty" or does that concept no longer exist? They may be stupid as fucking bricks, but that doesn't mean they're confirmed criminals.

So unless you buy that they were just BSing, then they may have actually played a big role in self-incrimination (assuming the government actually checks to see if there's any other evidence of conspiracy to commit a crime).
There will still be protests even if these guys just bungled themself into self-incrimination.
these people are what make anti-fascist movements into such a fucking embarrasment sad!
Conspiracy to commit a crime is still a crime. So unless you buy that they were just BSing, then they may have actually played a big role in self-incrimination.
Right, but again, innocent until proven guilty. Just because you have this little bit of evidence doesn't suddenly mean that we break out the rope and hang em high. This footage may be heavily edited, it may be missing critical context. There's enough evidence to investigate it, but you're literally working off one video and a handful of tweets made by a guy who is know for being a huge lying sack of shit. And instead of taking even a second to say, "hmm maybe this thing that's being marketed to me and my ideology could be a misrepresentation constructed to feed that narrative?" you're just running with it as fact. You're like those people that buy into the propaganda that PETA, naturalnews or whatever other garbage propaganda creators you'll actually admit exist throw out. Maybe wait for the authorities to pass an official statement before you jump the gun? Do I buy that they were BSing? Yeah, for now, because I have no reason to believe otherwise. Both options are possible and the party in question is capable of the level of stupidity required for both to be true. It's not a stretch to think that the kinds of people who would protest stuff aren't lawyers or backed by lawyers to advise them on this kind of stuff. Chances are they've never worked on that level before, they're activists, not politicians or PR people. Anyone can be an activist. Anyone can organise and lead a protest. Maybe not well, but they can do it. So when more information comes out and I'm able to make an actually rational judgement, we'll see if I still do.
Wait, James O'Keefe got fucking busted trying to bribe people to cause havoc at the protests according to HuffPost, RawStory, Inquisitr and BoingBoing. Yeah I'm 100% withholding all judgement on this.

Windsor told HuffPost that for now, the group is only releasing an edited version of the video.
Well that is hella ironic.
It is plausible that O’Keefe’s plan was not to disrupt to inaugural, but instead to catch lefties offering to do so.)
So even if it's all true, the take away is that O'Keefe offered money for a group to do bad things, to probably see if that group will say they will do those bad things and try to accept the bribe. So if I understand this correctly from a legal standpoint, and going by how his $20k transfer happen in the older DNC video, O'Keefe probably offered the bribe, but most likely wasn't going to pay it, just so he could catch them on camera saying they want to go ahead with it. Pretty standard undercover stuff and as far as I know. And not illegal as long as he never follows up with the cash, but makes the other party look awful if they try to accept it. Need a lawyer now to comment on enticement laws since I could be wrong there. Though if they actually had something, we would have probably seen a legal suit filed by them, but it has been a week since this counter video/article happened and it appears nothing has been done. Not only that, but O'Keefe has already offered cash before in the DNC videos (offering Bob Creamer for presidential access bribe/"donation") and that also didn't seem to get him charged, but did help get Bob Creamer out of the DNC.
It's not illegal, but it is similar to the "birddogging" that O'Keefe ironically "revealed" that the DNC were doing. Even if this organization and it's protest totally stinks (no pun intended and entirely believable) I'd want a source from someone other than O'Keefe. Dude has too much baggage.

How was O'keefe supposed to know that it was a prank? And why would he need to edit the footage when the people in the video wanted to make him believe that they were conspiring to commit a felony? I can't believe people are defending these people. These are the kind of people that will legitimize Trump and his supporters further, and this will be used to call protesters terrorists. The last time James O'keefe came out with videos, I was totally and vocally on the "release the full videos or fake" train, but this time the accused members have confirmed that the message shown is the message they wanted the spy to receive. So what the fuck? They should get the fuck out of the 'movement' asap and not let completely legitimate protests be tarnished by their idiotic 'prank'.

In a void of centralized organisation you always get crazies leaping up saying they're the 'leaders' or whatever because then they get media attention. Happened to Occupy Wall Street, the Tea Party, and now this.

Also not because I support Pizzagate, but since this will probably start popping up soon; Turns out one of the guys in the Project Veritas video, Luke Kuhn, has ties to arguing for teenage sex.
When I was 14 I had a crush on a popular actor who was 21 or 22 at the time-and many early-teenage girls would LOVE a roll in the hay with Leonard DeCaprio! It is no crime for DeCaprio to take the girls up on the offers he must surely get. As far as I am concerned, the definition of a crime is an action to which one of the physically involved parties did not consent. I also feel that anyone who can form an opinion can consent or refuse to consent. All that stuff about older partners having an "obligation" to refuse is bullshit. It also implies that sex is somehow a bad idea.
http://archive.is/97aly#selection-1385.7-1401.19 and several other accusations found (Such as him being into the composition of explosives) on here *Take with a grain of salt.* Expect Pizzagate to go nuts again, especially since this group fucking decided to actually go to Comet Pizza of all places to act retarded.
Expect Pizzagate to go nuts again, especially since this group fucking decided to actually go to Comet Pizza of all places to act retarded.
If they were taking the Veritas infiltrators for a ride, I can see why having a meet at Comet Pizza would be particularly funny.
Questionable sources now "confirm" the "Protests" have been scaled back a lot, leaving only a Bridge. Also Apparently there was a huge Weapons cache found in a DC Forest Near the Inauguration.
If they were taking the Veritas infiltrators for a ride, I can see why having a meet at Comet Pizza would be particularly funny.
It would be hilarious. But still boneheaded move to "play along" knowingly. And on camera there isn't anything to suggest they were doing this.
It would be hilarious. But still boneheaded move to "play along" knowingly. And on camera there isn't anything to suggest they were doing this.
Just to be totally clear, even if O'Keefes footage is totally edited in a dishonest way, at this point I'll take it as granted that the organizers of this protest are up to no good, given what left-leaning protests have involved in the past 6 months or so. I just don't think Pizzagate is really worth talking about anymore. It was a funny joke that some people took way too far.
New video. Talks about a plan to chainlink trains and stop them. Around 5:00 there is a part that suggests they were going to pay/abuse homeless people to block traffic. If it's verified to be true, they fucked.
If it's fake though, you done fell for fake news.
UPDATE They arrested a person linked to the video.
