Thank you. [editline]10:40PM[/editline] Every one spawn 60 props each. How much props on the server ? 60x128 = 7680 :D. Your processor will be happy :D.
That's impossible, the max entity limit is 4096. I'd rather put a limit of 32 or 48 props per player :v:
That's impossible, the max entity limit is 4096
The limit is 2048 entities. Like I said before it would be 3 times the entity limit. "A Source engine server can handle up to 2048 entities at the same time" http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Networking_Entities
fixed toolgun crosshair jumping around
yes! Yes! Fuck yes!!!!
Now, imagine a serious 128 player spacebuild war. :D Everyone has their own fighters and stuff against frigates and bigger ships controlled by more people = awesome. 128 player deathrun video at Youtube
Added Player:PlayScene( name, fDelay )
Wait a second, what happened with Update 67? Did we skip it or something?
Update 67 was the hotfix because Garry was blocking some commands used by some addons, i think he also fixed some crashing 'n shit.
128 player servers don't show up on my list, only the 80 player Gmod Tower one is at the top/
Did he fix the q menu when tool is open and parts get cut off at the top?
Fix noclip goddammit :argh: :orks: :doom:
Fix noclip goddammit :argh: :orks: :doom:
What's wrong with it?
What's wrong with it?
Did you just buy GMod? seriously.
Now make a fix so it runs more smoothly ! NOW ! 128 players is goin' to lag LOADS !!!!!
Did you just buy GMod? seriously.
For a better explanation, noclip used to be very fluid in movement. If you stopped, you'de slide a bit then stop. Now, it has very harsh, sharp movement. The moment you let go of a movement key, you jolt to a stop, but this is intentional. Garry put it in for precision movement, as well as a new system where holding shift makes you "sprint" in the air and move fast, "crouching" in the air slows you down, and jumping makes you rise. (None of which was in the old noclip movement) Ideally, it'd be nice if it was included as an option in the options menu, like: [x] Fluid Noclip [editline]03:31PM[/editline] And by the way, what happened to update 67?
The toolgun crosshair fix was a godsend.
It's a good apology for the disabling of HLSS. Can't wait to experience 128-player Zombie Survival... ...right after I lower the video settings.
Too bad he didn't apologize and this update fixed the workaround that was allowing people to use HLSS anyway.
Wow
Hey, I've noticed some servers have trouble using the Advanced Wire tool since I think update 66. X, Y, and Z inputs are in lowercase, and you can't select them. Yet those inputs work fine with the normal Wire Tool. This happened on 2 or 3 servers I was on, and then there was one were you don't even get options with the Advance Wire Tool (I'm guessing their Wire was just out of date, so I'm not counting them)
Holy fuck. 128? That will certainly stretch the resources on my dual P4 Xeon server pretty thin. I'm quite sure it would be handle all those people while connected in a 100/1000mbit LAN but over an ADSL+ connection...utter madness.
Did you just buy GMod? seriously.
No, I actually like the new noclip. (but I hate the HLSS disabling.ARHAHRAJRHA)
I also like the new noclip
I wonder how 128 players would work with a really big lan.
What are you guys talking about? The new noclip is great.
Thanks garry
Next update is update 69 :q:
Spacebuild3 etc etc apparently does not work with the update.
