100 years later. five facepunchers meet up in the city of paris, old and crippled, and limp to a magical box. each take a key, representing their perseverance, and open the fabled box "be sure to drink your ovaltine"
"Pre-order our new game coming in 2114 to get access to the launch day dlc!"
I was hoping 2113 was a typo, no thanks.
I'm pretty sure there is nothing they could do that wouldn't be a let down after 98 years of waiting.
This was found to be from a John Green quote:
d-damn, that's deep
Sucks to be one of you mortals. Let's see if I remember this in 100 years when I'm sucking blood in my mansion
there shall be no eiffel tower in the year 2113.
Must suck going out of your way to obtain those keys, only to find out you'll never know what the payoff is going to be.
Plot twist: When the people with the keys arrive in 2113, they open the chest only to find out that the riddle hasn't even truly begun, and they now have to search for stuff buried by the devs a hundred years ago.
I'm kind of angry I won't ever know what's in that box
How do you know we won't have immortality by 2080?
if you guys really want to know what's in the box just kidnap the dude or something
there shall be no eiffel tower in the year 2113.
In the year 2113 the leaders of the five tribes each park their dune buggies in the glassed remains of the city once called Paris. From the dust and twisted remains of the Eiffel tower crawls a feeble and broken man, a man whose entire life has been spent protecting and hiding the box as his father had and all prior fathers before his had. He places the box at the feet of the first tribe leader before slinking away back into the rubble. The man raises the box to his face and inserts his key, paid for in blood and conquest, into the lock. He twists slowly before stopping. Resistance. Nothing. It's the wrong key. There is silence for a moment as the others stare at him. The tribe leader begins to slowly step back before the other four pounce onto him and rip him to shreds. The box has deemed him unworthy. Another key will be tested.
should have just done it for five or ten years instead, that'd be pretty interesting.
new Payday DLC?

I wonder what could possibly be in this box under the Eiffel Tower? Some sort of rare, valuable item?
I wonder what could possibly be in this box under the Eiffel Tower? Some sort of rare, valuable item?
a physical edition of trials evolution
I wonder what could possibly be in this box under the Eiffel Tower? Some sort of rare, valuable item?
If it's not the skeleton of Jimmy Hoffa, I don't know what it could be.
When the box finally opens, inside will be a small metal tube with a pop cap. Inside the tube is a small, rolled up piece of paper. When unfurled, the piece of paper will read in the Old English tongue: "get a life"
How do you know we won't have immortality by 2080?
If I give a fuck about video games in 2080 I'll personally ask someone to kill me

100 years huh? pffft, go for 1000 instead. Make it extra hard.
and it's gonna be some note with social justice commentary
"Hitler did nothing wrong."
"Hitler did nothing wrong."
"Jet fuel cant melt steel beams"
what if this is an elaborate promo/arg for a new game they're making that's set in 2113
does anybody want to pay for a trip to there now?
I sure don't
In 2113, they will open the thing, and inside they will find a paper that says "Valiant Hearts Remake next year".
Kind of sucks that none of us will be alive to see this, though. [editline]13th June 2015[/editline] If any FPers survive, keep us updated.
With the average age of FP users we only need to survive to 125 because we are all 12. It's a possibility.
why are the creators of this bike game so fucking pretentious
Nearly solved? That is like saying an unopened can of soda is nearly empty. Why 2113? Why not 2063 or something, how do they know people will remember it, how do they know nothing will go wrong, how do they know if someone who has the key is a dick, and destroys it, how they do know someone wont grab the box and break it open sometime this year?
Watch when everyone one of the key holders dies and their family throws the keys away thinking they're just cheap junk.
