name another law in modern american history more racist than papers please
I'm genuinely confused, I thought racism was insulting a race not deporting people for entering a country illegally? Maybe it means something different there.

It's because it allows to police to just approach anybody who happens to look Hispanic or talks differently and demand on the spot that they prove their citizenship.

This is also known as racial profiling.
Racial profiling is inherently discriminatory.
do you not see anything questionable about this mindset
like I said 12 times, I dont support the law. There is very clearly something wrong with it but I just wanted someone to justify to me how it was inherently racist.

Again, I dont support it. But calling it racist isnt really right. Im playing semantics here so just ignore me.

yeah my bad, i didn't realize what you meant with that post. it's just that i've seen the semantics game being used to dismiss how racist laws can be when put into practice, based on how they're not racist in theory
