A hostile foreign power making attempts to fraud the US presidential election is "not really" alarming?
"They're not bothering anybody, I'm sure it's fine" says man living with massive hornet's nest in living room.
One of the mysteries about the 2016 presidential election is why Russian intelligence, after gaining access to state and local systems, didn’t try to disrupt the vote. One possibility is that the American warning was effective. Another former senior U.S. official, who asked for anonymity to discuss the classified U.S. probe into pre-election hacking, said a more likely explanation is that several months of hacking failed to give the attackers the access they needed to master America’s disparate voting systems spread across more than 7,000 local jurisdictions.
Such operations need not change votes to be effective. In fact, the Obama administration believed that the Russians were possibly preparing to delete voter registration information or slow vote tallying in order to undermine confidence in the election. That effort went far beyond the carefully timed release of private communications by individuals and parties.
Finally. I've been waiting for this "2016 election was rigged" myth to be put to rest for nearly a year now, since the debates. If this report is to be believed, I'm only too pleased to see the "Russia hacked it" excuse go down with it.

The fact that Russians had access to voter databases lends a lot more credence to the allegations that the Russians used precisely-targeted Facebook advertising to target individual voters in swing constituencies who could be swayed to vote for Trump with fake news that pushed them towards voting Trump.
You don't need to hack the ballot box itself to tamper with the trajectory of democracy.
Sorry but even Comney before he was fired admitted this was true. No Votes were altered.
I believe this post was just repeating common things that republicans repeat over and over when they are acting like this is somehow a non-issue.

Same. I'm glad that it was only shown that Russia targeted the US election and tried to sway the election in one candidates favor. Now, let's open up those real investigation on the 3 million illegal immigrants voting. Also, Hillary's emails that trump is quoted saying he would love the Russians to continue hacking into her campaign.
One former senior U.S. official expressed concern that the Russians now have three years to build on their knowledge of U.S. voting systems before the next presidential election, and there is every reason to believe they will use what they have learned in future attacks.
This paragraph doesn't concern you??

I like how the last sentence of the thing you quoted refutes your statement

AKA the election tampering might've still happened.
