Is this supposed to be some weird satire of socialism or something?
i'm so terribly sorry that i don't like quantifying people into haves and have-nots. i'm so horribly offensive for wanting people to be truly equal. [editline]15th November 2012[/editline]
They have the right because they own the country and have a loyal armed forces to back them up. We are merely the tenants on that land.
dave gilmour go back to bed
dave gilmour go back to bed
shut the fuck up roger your solo albums are shite
shut the fuck up roger your solo albums are shite
i'll have you know that KAOS reached number one in singapore
I was lampooned on the first page for being a dick (and rightfully so), and now it's suddenly okay to do it to me? Please, make an argument. Mocking me won't prove anything.
I'm not providing an argument, and providing a commentary on yours (or lack of) You were just being a plain dick before so it's not comparable.
People who are unable to work/can't find it yeah damn right the government should help. But if you're just a lazy shit who can't be arsed you can fuck off, that money should go to people who need it.
it generally costs more when the system tries to make these sort of value judgements and it ends up hurting more than it helps
People have been laughing at Ron Paul since before you were born.
they've been laughing at him longer than 12 years?
This is satire isn't it, it has to be
once again. i am terribly, deeply sorry that i am one of the few ignoramuses who doesn't like identifying and picking and choosing between different types of person. i will go throw myself into a pile of rubble now.
i'm so terribly sorry that i don't like quantifying people into haves and have-nots. i'm so horribly offensive for wanting people to be truly equal.
the central irony of egalitarianism is that should it reach its stated endgoal it will create a eugenics more potent than hitler could have possibly imagined
newsflash: separating people because of wealth, class, ideology, work status, etc etc is wrong.
they've been laughing at him longer than 12 years?
the cult of Ron Paul can be traced back to ye olden days of usenet. I'm sure people were laughing then as well.
See ya Ron Paul, I hope the door hits you on the way out.
it generally costs more when the system tries to make these sort of value judgements and it ends up hurting more than it helps
The government should find them jobs, if they don't take those jobs then they can go away.
The government should find them jobs, if they don't take those jobs then they can go away.
Permanent unemployment exists tho.
The government should find them jobs, if they don't take those jobs then they can go away.
there aren't always enough jobs you dingus and that's the last post i'm making in response to you on this subject in this thread.
The government should find them jobs, if they don't take those jobs then they can go away.
a relative of mine has been made incapable of doing his previous jobby a car accident, the government has offered him jobs he can easily do, but if he accepts them then the government will cut off all other support because he is earning over a certain level, regardless of whether or not that level can support his family. that's why many people don't take jobs offered to them by the govt.
there aren't always enough jobs you dingus and that's the last post i'm making in response to you on this subject in this thread.
Well like I said, if there are no jobs or none of the jobs available will take them on then fine, give them benefits, but if they're just a lazy shit head who expects everyone else to subsidise their laziness then they can fuck off. [editline]15th November 2012[/editline]
a relative of mine has been made incapable of doing his previous jobby a car accident, the government has offered him jobs he can easily do, but if he accepts them then the government will cut off all other support because he is earning over a certain level, regardless of whether or not that level can support his family. that's why many people don't take jobs offered to them by the govt.
Yeah but that's a problem that needs to be solved by the government.
“If it’s not accepted that big government, fiat money, ignoring liberty, central economic planning, welfarism, and warfarism caused our crisis, we can expect a continuous and dangerous march toward corporatism and even fascism with even more loss of our liberties,” said Paul, an obstetrician-gynecologist by training.

big government causes corporatism
right In all seriousness, though, at least Ron Paul seemed to me like one of the better politicians. Much more honest, and he wouldn't let personal opinions affect his libertarianism.

This is dedicated to our fallen glorious leader Ron Paul
are you a Sun reader perchance
Nope, the reason what the sun and the daily mail say is stupid is because they make it out as though it's actually a major problem and that everyone is sitting on benefits because they're lazy, which isn't the case. What I'm arguing against here is your idea that the government should pay for people who are actually unwilling to work, where as I think that the government should pay to keep peoples heads above the water and bit by bit try to pull them back in.
Call me a whacko but I agree with some of what Paul said. We're still a long way from fascism but things like the TSA being out of control and the NDAA being completely, incontrovertibly unacceptable I do agree with. It's turned into way too much of a "them versus us" mindset when we all need to be working together to keep society functioning as it should.

Ron Paul is a brilliant man, most of you idiots are just too ignorant to acknowledge that. Americuuuh

But the NDAA is the funding for the whole goddamned military, there was nothing that could be done about it. It literally had to pass, there was no alternative.
And seriously, what did the Fish and Wildlife Service ever do to anyone?
It's really not comparable. If Somalia and the United States adopted the same government style (regardless of the type) the US would naturally outperform Somalia because of the pre-existing conditions.
lol question dodged
And seriously, what did the Fish and Wildlife Service ever do to anyone?
REGULATION IS BAD MMKAY
lol question dodged
using the political situation in somalia to discuss politics doesn't really make sense as somalia was a shit country to begin with, and will continue being shit for the forseeable future regardless of political system
using the political situation in somalia to discuss politics doesn't really make sense as somalia was a shit country to begin with, and will continue being shit for the forseeable future regardless of political system
but if the free market is a tool for improvement then why has somalia been going steadily downhill?
