"The constitution has failed" - Ron Paul delivers farewell speech to Congress, freedom

Okay, it doesn't "define" the human species, but logic and thought process are something nearly all humans have in common, and definitely separates them from other animals.
I also never said 80% of Americans are incapable of logic, just that they are deficient in it.
Logic and thought process may be learned, but they are deterministic/absolute/objective. If someone, given the same knowledge, comes to a different logical conclusion on an objective matter, I will say their logic is not working properly.
Now that we're talking about logic, I'd like to state that the one thing I agree on with Ayn Rand is that Aristotle was the greatest philosopher of all time.

and? One of them is right the other is wrong...
and? One of them is right the other is wrong...
Whether you agree with someone doesn't change whether their arguments suck.

What do you mean by right, though?
Nevertheless, even if you're correct, those statements are still the equivalent of "obongo" shit.
Hate Ron Paul all you want, I'm going to blaze up and forget about it. I just want people to realize how sheep-like they sound.
I realize this is an informal discussion forum but it never hurts to use argument rather than mindless rhetoric.

by wrong I mean that the democrats are right wing by world standards, America is just super right so being moderate (democrats) is left here.
Literally no other 1st or 2nd world country supports Republican ideals (or Libertarian Ron Paul whatever he thinks he is). Half of America is Republican, half of one 1st world country vs the rest of the world, who has more credibility?

Well I don't think anyone here would disagree that arguments are important when compared to empty rhetoric, but saying 'oh if we just changed around the subject matter and all the names then you guys would look pretty stupid!!' is just as empty as anything else.

Well, to be fair, just because one opinion has more followers and supporters doesn't make it correct.

No, they looked stupid from the get go.
I changed the names around so they could realize it.

That being said, I do agree with the majority here and I hate Republican ideals. So while I'm not exactly supporting you, I think that we need an honest, logic-filled debate to get anywhere.

I've never once said that I am a Republican or that I support their ideals.

rofl you have to be out of your mind if you think that discredits actual economists whose beliefs are backed up by real world events instead of hypothetical ones that never happen
Ayn Rand is for edgy teenagers and man-children.
how do you think the rest of the population go to the state of all disagreeing with Republican policies? Because they tried them in the past, and got disaster.
Austrian economics (the Ron Paul and traditional GOP system) has never worked in any county that has ever tried it, including the US

Republicans and Democrats are both usually Keynesians, are we arguing about economics or ethics here?

You know nothing about economics if you think the GOP has ever been "Austrian".

Hey, some of the mods could use a bit of cash and this seems like something people would want to know about that poster....
Well so much for learning about Ron Paul in this shit thread
As light is ceased by the dark-faced tyrant, the free beings inhabiting the American Empire put their prayers and dreams to sleep. Freed only from an encompassing and final golden dawn, liberty has dug it's own grave, meant for a coffin constructed from self-made mistakes.
Even in the gray days of past, torches shone on the foggy shores of democracy. Men and women who could see through the complex murk foretold of what was to come. Capitalizing upon the information age, they spread their message, only for it to reach the ones who needed it the least. The informed were striving towards an unachievable goal, halted by the mainstream media and the lies of our aristocracy.
And now, these torches are being extinguished. They are extinguishing their selves, refusing to burn in a world of gray lies. America had been growing closer to it's trial, and is now sentenced to death. Ron Paul, a light endowed figure sent to America to combat the anti-Christ's plot, has been captured. The figurehead in our revolution has joined the ranks of apathy.
However, freedom has yet to be buried. Liberty can be evicted, conscripted and twisted, but you cannot kill an idea. Hope will be bestowed in the heart of the reborn, as Rand Paul fights for the freed reins of democracy in 2016. The authority cannot authoritate without the will of the world. And the world wills indeed.
Legends Never Die.
It. Is. Happening.

Now, you can go back to huffing your own shit.
What's wrong with Ron Paul? hes my favorite politician
Ron Paul is simply idiotic because he refuses to say that the US Government is small. He obviously wasn't around during the 50's and 60's when the US government was actually massive. That's also when it actually functioned.
The fact of the matter is that she was perhaps the most important political philosopher of the 20th century.
