Prosecutors refused to press more serious felony charges against Kanye West because his alleged victim sustained only minor injuries
No fucking shit. He grabbed his fucking head and did fuck all else.
Anyway, Kanye may be an asshole, but he wasn't wrong.
About seven years ago (before he really became famous) Joseph Gordon-Levitt recorded paparazzi right back.

I wish everyone would start attacking paparazzi who are being cunts and beat the shit out of them.
By cunts I mean like blocking/ getting in the way of/ not leaving adequate space/ asking questions about a baby that just died as the celebrities are leaving the hospital, to trigger a reaction. That's just a fucking cheap-shot, yet it happens.

they are like a group of House Flies, Ants and Mosquitoes
just FUCK OFF

I don't even like Ryan Reynolds but I feel bad for the guy here.
wow Paparazzi, Kanye not.
Just because they have a shitty job doenst mean that they get denied the same legal protection of everyone else. What they're doing is not illegal. Its annoying, but not illegal. If Kanye did what the dude is reporting... then yea, he should be charged with assault.
I mean, you dont even have to touch a person to commit assault.
Why are people rating this dumb? Legally the paparazzi are in the legal right here. Even if he did exaggerate it more than a professional athlete looking for a foul, it is still technically assault. Just because someone is being a huge idiot doesn't mean you can physically attack them.
Excuse me sir, but that is still assault.

Okay, surely I'm not the only one who's most annoyed by the dude with the camcorder who keeps calling him 'bro'?
The worst Paparazzi's are the ones from TMZ. I don't know why, but I despise them the most. Worse of all when I try to watch fucking movies on my HBO and I get a fucking hour long TMZ show, with that fucking annoying 'celeb gossiper' voice. Listen to this shit.

This is something that belongs in GTA
if I had people following me around everywhere I went and stalking me to the point that I cant walk without bumping into 10 them as they barrage me with questions and set off their $1000 camera flashes in my face multiple times in broad daylight you can bet I would start pushing them
Why are there so many people attacking the paparazzi? They essentially do the same thing celebrities like Kanye do and that is bring some form of entertainment for the masses. Neither really brings any true worthwhile contribution to society.
Could you imagine the dream of fame coming with a sea of flashing lights and questions trolling for a bad reaction every single time you leave private property?
I'd eventually snap, and do a lot worse if I were given the treatment that stars are given every day of their lives, where they can't even relax anywhere that is legally considered public without a sea of photographers swarming them and shouting demeaning questions at them.
Just because it is legal now, does not mean it should remain legal to do what these people do to make a quick buck. The bigger problem is that they've done nothing else with their lives, and clearly don't even have the education or talents to make it as real journalists.

One creates artistic media and the other stalks and harasses.

Because who the fuck needs culture anyways, right?

Would you enjoy if people were constantly following you and harassing you, talking shit about you and uploading those pictures online with false accusations?
Sure it's legal, but it doesn't make it okay to talk about you or your family and friends in such a disrespectful way.

Yes, but we shouldn't cheer people on for assault. A violent solution is never a good one.

There's a few segments from The Right Stuff where the astronauts and their families were pretty much about to snap because they couldn't even leave their curtains open and there was press climbing over the backyard fence.
Why in the fuck would KANYE WEST attempt theft..
Just listen to that.. WHY.
Yes, but we shouldn't cheer people on for assault. A violent solution is never a good one.
Bullshit it isn't, you're acting like those teachers who tell you not to hit back at others just because they hit you. Sure violence isn't a solution to alot of things but you seriously think with a culture filled with wars, a disrespectful personal comment wouldn't cause trouble between two individuals?
Kanye isn't even a "douche" as people are calling him. I'd be fucking sick of the shit he gets every day from paparazzi, I barely like people alone, so I'd hate people with cameras asking questions.
Only be nice to people you like or have mutual respect for.

What do you think causes those wars? Just because Putin has Snowden then we should attack them because they "provoked us?" There are plenty examples in history of nonviolent solutions working just as well as violent ones.

AFAIK tmz don't actually hire anyone, they just buy stuff from people. However if they do hire people it wouldn't surprise me if they act like this based on the quality of their other "journalism".

Of course USA wouldn't attack Russia, invading wouldn't be the best solution, seeing as they are spying on almost everyone. There are also plenty of examples of wars created from absolutely nothing.
But let's not compare a celebrity vs a paparazzi to a war between countries.
Kanye is one of the best rappers out there, don't say otherwise until you've listened to late registration and college dropout. I know if I was a celebrity I would just pay some organized crime to fuck up/scare paparazzi. Kanye even says in his songs like "next time I'm in church no photos please". "I know that we the new slaves, I move my family out the country so you can't see where I stay" etc.
Paparazzi are the scum of the world
They're pretty bad yeah, but c'mon there's so much worse out there. Save that phrase for people who deserve it, like Oil executives and Putin :v:
I think Kanye is a massive cunt but fuck this
That's arguable because the song all falls down describes how horribly materialistic the youth is.
'It seems we living the American dream
But the people highest up got the lowest self-esteem
The prettiest people do the ugliest things'
'We'll buy a lot of clothes when we don't really need em
Things we buy to cover up what's inside
Cause they make us hate ourself and love they wealth
That's why shorty's hollerin', where the ballers at'
But I guess that goes with opinions and tastes in not going to change yours.

I just don't get why he is rapping about that while being a bad example himself with his materialism.
Guess he's in his zone.
