Who knows maybe this is like the gun shootings in america in the fact that now it is just a case of the media constantly reporting on what NK says but in reality they have been talking non-stop shit all this time. In fact why have we been seeing so much reporting on what NK has been saying recently as I don't know why? Or is it just a case of they are making twice as many threats as normal and now everybody is listening in?
Well with the war games and B-2s flying around over there now, I feel like things are actually getting a bit more tense than usual
They already used this threat didn't they? Even new threats are getting old, but this is just laziness
north korea is annoying as hell.
hmmm yes, thats the best idea before you attack, tell the enemy your going to attack them :L I dont see this escalating.
As much as we laugh about North Korea, you have to admit, this must really stress Geun-hye and Obama.
The mayo of Guacamole thinks that nothing will happen.
North Korea needs to mustard up the resources to helps it's citizens ketchup to the other countries.
Why would North Korea tell everyone what they are doing? At this point we don't even need intelligence on North Korea, they will just tell us everything.
Because they're bluffing
This is all a scheme to entertain us while they slip the Koreanator of the North into a sattelite, send it to space, and then zap us all with mutating beams, turning us into devoted north koreans!
why are they even telling the world what they're doing?
I wouldn't be surprised if this is just propaganda for their citizens; stops them them from thinking about the lack of food if they have a common enemy. The North Korean generals aren't stupid, the only thing they care about is the regime's survival. Either that or there's going to be a new sea between South Korea and China and this post will look stupid. :v:
i think its time to stop the "le babby nk" circlejerk and start taking them seriously
i think its time to stop the "le babby nk" circlejerk and start taking them seriously
I took them seriously at first but now it's just getting ridiculous.
The particularly wording is a bit more severe than the most recent threats. It's possible we could have another incident on par with the sinking of the Cheonan or the shelling of Yeonpyeong Island in 2010, but full-scale war still seems unlikely.
I wish they'd make a move. Just seems like it'd be fun to end them finally. Although, lots of people would die. So perhaps not.
Toxx. Someday, I hope to visit the island of South Korea. [Sp]Don't do it Lil Kim Jr, seriously, I'm not going to stop you from committing suicide, but could you please just shoot yourself instead?[/sp]
Toxx, If this thing kicks off, and we wind up going to war with North Korea, I will drink myself into a coma so they can't draft me :v:
With the amount of rhetoric that NK spews, eventually they're going to prove us all wrong in a big bad way.
The problem with the increasing militarization of the whole peninsula is that a peaceful attempt at peaceful reunification is by now entirely impossible, and I'm perfectly aware that North Korea is aware that any peaceful solution would by now involve the entire removal of the North Korean government and cult of personality, as well as a major disarmament, which would leave them as JUST a poor communist country as opposed to a poor communist country with a very sizable army. The possibility of war is real, the odds of North Korea winning it is close to nil however, and it all comes down to how they would like their ultimate fate to be, as the ones who lived by submitting themselves to the enemy, or as the ones who set the world alight.

Its to trick us. They butter the world up with threats till the world goes "Oh you North Korea". In the end the US will retreat some of their troops since it doesn't seem like the NK will do anything. That's when they will strike. Never underestimate your enemy FP, good night.
Oh North Korea, dont you realize the rest of the world just laughs at you when you make these "threats". If the U.S really thought that N.K would start war, the U.S would make the first move. Knock them out before they can even stand.
So they bombed some Island.

The little diplomatic relations US had with China would shatter.
So they bombed some Island. -images-
A South Korean island?

Oh okay, so it was a firing drill. That's pretty relevant.
So they bombed some Island.
I know this is a probably a stupid thing to say but I mean, compared to some of the shit I've seen American ordinance do... That's pretty pathetic looking.
Oh okay, so it was a firing drill. That's pretty relevant.
Yeah but it happened 2 weeks ago.
Yeah but it happened 2 weeks ago.
Well it's not like he posted a link for me to check or anything when I first asked.
