No need to read Miranda rights to bin Laden if captured

I'd look at him and say, "You have the right" *gunshot to bin ladens head* "To remain silent"
YEAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!
No one is ever going to find him because he's dead.

Prove it.
Prove it.
You know, you could always prove that he is alive.

This page cites the dates of recent bin Laden communiques. Their legitimacy could still be debated, but it holds up stronger than "He's dead because I want him to be!"
Oh God you'd be the most hated attourney if you were randomly assigned to defend Osama Bin Laden.

Burden of proof is on him. He said he's dead so HE has to prove it.

What I notice is that the all of the recordings after October 29, 2004 are either audio tapes or videos with still pictures. I'm just saying. I doubt it would be hard to find a voice that resembles Bin Laden's. And it's simple to use a picture of him in several different postures. Don't get me wrong. I don't like conspiracies either, but here we have some really interesting proof.
The last thing anyone in political office wants to do is publically defend Bin Laden's rights, haha.
I could imagine there are some would, be it for publicity or because they're from countries which are in support of him.
After all even the worst mass murderers get solicitors, some solicitors actually want to try and make the case fair, regardless of who they're defending. I mean everyone is going to obviously be biased against someone like Bin Laden.
1. He has no rights. He's not an enemy combatant, yet he wages war on America.
2. He doesn't deserve those rights regardless.
And if they catch him, they should tie him to a post in the middle of NYC.
uh, no, he has legal rights.
I don't think you deserve rights, lets tie you to a post.
If they find him, they'll probably beat the fuck out of him until he can fit in a briefcase, so Miranda Rights are pointless anyway in this case...
That's a blatant breach of ANY human rights.
[editline]10:17PM[/editline]
wow, are they actually close enough to catching him that this is has come up in discussion?
they ain't no where close to catching him. The US isn't even in the right country.
[editline]10:18PM[/editline]
I think that if they catch him, some trigger happy soldier will shoot him on sight, even if he surrenders. Or Bin Laden will do some weird suicide bombing on the soldiers trying to catch him.
nice fantasy, but no.

John Adams defended the British after the Boston Massacre.
I can't believe people still think he's alive. Hes blatantly just a boogy man figure-head for any war America fancies waging in the middle east.
Conspiracy theories are called conspiracy theories for a reason.
Because they're completely and total bullshit.
The government doesn't need a reason to go to war, look at Iraq.
The cruelest punishment for him would be to dump him in the middle of the U.S. with $1000 dollars, food and water.
Just see how long he lasts. Crazy 'murricans.
Set up a stand and charge 1 dollar per punch. US would have a surplus in no time.

He has a point, the US is chasing after Bin Laden but even when they catch him someone's going to take his place, to quote Medgar Evers "You can kill a man but you can't kill an idea."

I'm of the opinion he's been dead for a while (since we haven't seen any concrete proof of him for years now), but...
Boogy man? Are you seriously that ignorant? Last time I checked, Bin Laden's been responsible for some really horrible stuff. That ain't no boogy man in my, or any other reasonable person's, book.
Know what happens when he isn't read his rights?
He'll be cleared, and let go.

Except that won't happen because our military/government is frickin evil
I'm pretty sure bin Laden is long gone. Either dead or hidden.

lol another baseless claim
Military actually has something similar to Miranda rights, but it is changed a bit and covers more and is strictly for military members.
Also they don't have to read him shit if they catch him outside of America. (How do you think they got away with Gitmo for so long?) Plus every country has their own version of this..EU has letter of rights (i think) for example.
