• Study: Marijuana Doesn't Affect Driving Performance

ITT Stoners fight each other over their driving abilities.
Maybe you should print this off, smoke some blow, get driving and hand it to the bobby who pulls you over. I'm sure he'll let you off in light in this.
I'm not fighting, simply comparing my own experiences with this "study" I'm not saying the study proves anything I'm just saying my own experiences are the same as whatever findings this study came up with.
They get out of the car reeking like marijuana and are clearly baked, what else is there to say?
I'm wearing a hoody right now that reeks, I haven't smoked today just last night. If I jump in my car and commit a traffic offence on the way to picking up my girlfriend later and get stopped. I'll probably get pinched for being under the influence. I have been tailed before and pulled over while under the influence and it turned out to be my tail light, I played it cool, sprayed febreeze eveywhere when the officer referred to the smell I pointed out the three airfresheners I have hanging off my rearview and then he nodded and told me my light was out. On your way sir.
I was laughing at a bowl of milk
You sound pretty new to it then or you have an amazing dealer which hooks you up with the most amazing rocket fuel spiked bud.
You sound pretty new to it then or you have an amazing dealer which hooks you up with the most amazing rocket fuel spiked bud.
Well the particular instance when I was laughing about a bowl of milk was like the third time so yeah. That was about a year ago, was just picking out one of the most odd things I've done.
Fair enough, I've been smoking for four years... I wouldn't get behind a wheel if I still found bowls of milk hilarious :P
Well the particular instance when I was laughing about a bowl of milk was like the third time so yeah. That was about a year ago, was just picking out one of the most odd things I've done.
Ah thanks for clarifying :)
Four years here too. High interactions are almost second-nature now.
Seeing how the source link is a pro-weed news board, I have to call bullshit. Also the fact there have been several cannabis related accidents in this city.
This. Almost all of the studies that say weed doesn't kill ya are from pro-weed forum/news sites. I call shenanigans.
It does throw in quite a large bias. I don't know what the fuck the study is on about, beacuse there are quite a noticeable amount of marijuana related accidents here.
What about all those karaoke related car accidents then?
Quite a lot. What the fuck does that have to do with anything? Or are you just trying to sound smart? The study is disproving cannabis in relation to poor driving performance, not alcohol. They get out of the car reeking like marijuana and are clearly baked, what else is there to say? Not every single car accident makes it to the news with a detailed report. And yes, boo hoo, that probably makes every word I say invalid. Whatever.
Settle down, All i'm saying is that it's not as dangerous as it was thought, I can't personally vouch for this, but that's what the study says. And no I'm not trying to sound smart.
This. Almost all of the studies that say weed doesn't kill ya are from pro-weed forum/news sites. I call shenanigans.
and all sources saying it will make you insane and kill you are from anti-weed forum/news sites. It is well documented how safe it is, and the pro weed websites are not twisting any information.
This. Almost all of the studies that say weed doesn't kill ya are from pro-weed forum/news sites.
Yeah, weed kills you dead. One hit and bam. That's why people use it for medicine.
I can also personally vouch that the findings of the study coincide with my own personal experiences, also marijuana related accidents. I think you'll find thats a very broad statement.
Very interesting. One of my friends was hit in a car accident a few weeks back and suffered some brain damage. The girl who hit her admitted that she'd smoked weed last night, and the judge took that as a reason to set her bail at $50,000. Now we know that judge was a dick.

I remember you posting on the old weed forum/ section on here years ago. [editline]04:21PM[/editline]
Very interesting. Unfortunately because she was smoking every single thing she did is now branded as being caused by smoking, not the fact that she's a silly twat.

Unfortunately because she was smoking every single thing she did is now branded as being caused by smoking, not the fact that she's a silly twat.
First of all, quit insulting her. Everyone in the community is behind her. Secondly, yes, she simply wasn't paying attention to the road. That's the only reason why it happened. Either way, someone paid her bail and now she's out.
Why is the whole community supporting a girl who wasn't paying attention to the road, hit someone and brain damaged them or am I completely missing something?
I too can back up this thread. It's not hard at all. I'll smoke before, or while I drive. I have made a mistake or two like, missing my turn because I'm high. Little things like this happen every now and then. And really, one joint isn't shit for someone who enjoys blunts so it probably varies. See the world second and get high first. Save lives!
This sounds like a heap of bullshit. You shouldn't be driving if under anything that may alter/delay your reaction time and mental state. That includes drugs, alcohol, and some medicine.
This sounds like a heap of bullshit. You shouldn't be driving if under anything that may alter/delay your reaction time and mental state. That includes drugs, alcohol, and some medicine.
Well done, the point is a comparison to alcohol. You can drink and drive and still be under the illegal limit Like Arsonist said one spliff is nothing to someone who smokes so in my mind that would be under the limit. Alcohol under the limit is much worse for you than a doobie. Oh and I hear that Arsonist..the only thing I've ever done is either driving too slowly or the most annoying, missing a turning..going up the wrong one way system. FUUUCCCCKKK
This is true. I was on the back of a moped and the driver was high. He was really steady driver.
Why is the whole community supporting a girl who wasn't paying attention to the road, hit someone and brain damaged them or am I completely missing something?
Because it wasn't her fault and she was scared. Two people in the wrong place at the wrong time. Literally everyone's behind them. One of the first things the mom of the girl who got hit asked was how the girl who hit her was holding up. We're not vengeful people around these parts.
This sounds like a heap of bullshit. You shouldn't be driving if under anything that may alter/delay your reaction time and mental state. FUUUCCCCKKK
You can be on T3's and be under the limit, that doesn't make it right or safe. Simply, you should not be taking anything which can impair your mental state when driving. [editline]08:35AM[/editline]
I mean i agree, it's morally wrong to do so but this news just lets the people who already do it smoke more and care less.
It's not about morals, it's about responsibility to not misuse a potentially dangerous machine.
The worst is being on the highway and missing your exitfuckfuckfuckfuck...
The only thing you're hurting is your gas budget then lol.
Simply, you should not be taking anything which can impair your mental state when driving.
weed is fine then
It's not about morals, it's about responsibility to not misuse a potentially dangerous machine.
I see what you're saying about responsibility and all but driving has become such a daily routine in our lives that it's almost natural to operate the vehicle to a T, stoned or not, you should know how to drive the car you're driving. But when you smoke then drive, you're way more into it. You vibe with the car, you see life through the cars headlights, you are the car! HOLY SHIT!
