Chrome for iOS Tops The Download Charts, but is Intentionally Handicapped by Apple

I put this on my iPod and noticed a big change in speeds
god bless google
I thought Opera was suing Microsoft under some bullshit guise solely because even IE was whooping their ass in the browser market
Either way the ruling upheld in court. If microsoft isn't allowed to 'prioritize' their software then Apple sure as FUCK shouldn't be able to blatantly cripple Javascript.
iOS6 gives a little more freedom to upload videos and images through safari and now dolphin, chrome etc. but seriously if you want to do the most customization you gotta jailbreak
however I get more thrill jailbreaking an iPhone, iPod or iPad better than rooting my android

Because Android isn't nearly as locked down as iOS, literally the only thing I had to gain from jailbreaking my Android was being able to install nonmarket apps (which most phones can do already with jailbreaking) and different roms.

only purpose rooting got me was file managers that could go down in the system files, iOS is a neat operating system for mobile devices, it's pretty fast and optimized but apple needs to expand on user freedom more, every iOS update gives the user something that should of been released back in probably iOS 1 or 2 (cut, copy, paste, searching, folders, notification centre, background customization etc.)
You think that's bad? It requires ICS on Android which most people don't have
There's a legitimate reason for that, though - Honeycomb and above have hardware acceleration, which Chrome needs for its smooth page rendering/panning/UI. ICS also includes an upgraded page renderer and javascript compiler. (see http://developer.android.com/about/versions/android-4.0-highlights.html and http://developer.android.com/about/versions/android-3.0-highlights.html)

That's why I sold my first gen iPod touch a couple months after buying it. Apple is seriously fucking retarded not including those things in the first place. I really doubt anyone could defend the stupidity. "Yeah I ENJOYED not copy + pasting it made me my phone unique!!"
Chrome for iOS is on more devices than Android devices :v:

Because google are shit at updating their OS so nobody can run it.
It's so much easier to use that safari.
Says the one who has the first five letters of "Netscape" as his name.
Why not use Netscape instead? Is that even available? Would be hilarious.
Fuck yeah, time to hide my Safari app

Actually no, you could blame the carriers and the phone makers themselves, they add skins onto the stock Android OS, e.g. HTC has their Sense, Samsung has their TouchWiz and so on.
I'm still waiting for my ICS update, assuming the only reason why I don't have it yet (while others do) is because my carrier is adding shit to it or something, with whatever Sony has already added.
Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) as released a few days ago during Google I/O was their latest Android OS, where anyone with a Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus or a Nexus 7 (tablet) got onto it right away, the OS is out there, you just have to wait for the phone makers and carriers to add shit to it before it's "officially" rolled it.
Of course, I can get Jelly Bean if I wanted to right now, same with ICS, it's not hard either.
My Nexus has JellyBean on it now. Feels way better than any version or custom rom ive ever used.
Chrome on phones is great, but for some reason it sucks on my tablet (Asus Transformer Prime TF201).
Holy shit! My dad, hardcore apple fan, agrees with me that Apple made a dick move on this one.
That's a real surprise for me.
Ill stick with opera.
