have you considered the possibility that paying $3,500 for an excuse to stroke your boner to the stars and stripes is neither a wise nor necessary investment
[editline]4th February[/editline]
fyi you don't need to pay that much money to perform autofellatio and think of apple pies and amish people
You're right, I should bought that $650 China computer that would of only lasted me 2-5 years. Purchasing for me has nothing to do with this imaginary boner you're so facinated with. I will buy anything from France that's good quality because France built us our Liberty Statue. I will buy from almost any country that has pride in thier work. I will not purchase anything from China because there is no pride in the work.
Pretty much proves that America is xenophobic to the extreme.
Case in point, their immigration policies.
You'd have to be literally LOADED with cash and optionally be a celebrity or else the immigration procedure is likely to take a goddamn DECADE.
And that's if you're lucky and didn't get denied.

You're only gonna use it for 5 years, so what's the problem?
Patriotism is just a thing to capitalise on nowadays, nothing else.
And you got ripped off big time, and I'm talking about "anal rape with no lube" big time.
however on a state level over half the country has english as the official language
States are not the US. So it gets a bit muddley.
It was $3,500 just for the fans and cooling system for the graphics cards.
I like to imagine you going around your home with a mask and anti-static suit with a label gun labeling the country of origin on everything down to the individual toothpicks.

Why do that when all I have to do is flip it over and it says MADE IN.

I honestly think you're just trolling now.
It's pretty damn hard and expensive as fuck.
Ahahaha, do you really believe that everything in your computer was built in America?
It was $3,500 just for the fans and cooling system for the graphics cards.
Oh please do share some of these amazing computer parts
"Ah-haha he paid money for something that was made to last decades! AHAHAHA!"
Are you for real?
Also Stephen Colbert's reaction to this commercial was pretty entertaining.

Stainless steel reinforced cooling fans, custom built liquid cooling fluid with reinforced carbon tubes. Steel shells for Motherboard and fans. Anti-dust air vents crafted from polymer. Reinforced polymer for outer shell, anti-glare glass for screen. All wires in one cover for easy maintenance, repair or replacement. People are always going "Well what the fuck you don't need a $12,000 computer." I always say "Well what the fuck you do not need a computer, telivision, radio, or a car." I have the money, and that's how I spent it. My last computer was from Best Buy and took it to the shop, had all parts replaced with the at the time highest components (2003.) You know what, that fucker just died last year, and only had to service it once.

what about the actual literal computer parts
not the boring connecting bits
also it sounds like you're throwing together as many buzzwords as you possibly can
"ooo reinforced carbon tubes"
"ooo polymer"

Good for you, so what if you want to spend $500 for one. Could last a year could last ten years. People in the world find it abnormal for people to purchase or invest in something that they find foolish. My point is, if you have the money, get what you enjoy, build what you want, or invest in what you want. I wanted a high lasting computer, so I dished it out. I wanted a collection of Western Replica six-shooters so I dished it out. People mock me constantly which I find funny because they are complaining constantly that whatever they bought didn't last. You get exactly what you paid for. "Well you're an idiot for spending that on a computer." So then by that logic it's stupid to buy ANYTHING when it comes down to it.
Haha I paid $850 for my computer and $120 for a new video card and it's worked just fine for six years and kept up with most new releases
Imagine justifying $12,000 dollars on a fucking gaming computer holy shit

Yeah, I didn't buy the life time special for $20,000 instead of the 15 year one. Imagine justifying $850 on a computer "OMG WASTE OF MONEY COMPUTER SHOULD ONLY BE $100!"
I think a common language is one of the most fundamental premises for a nation. I don't understand the patriotism that's presented in the commercial. "Oh America! America!" Everybody loves America, but for what reason? It's a melting pot of different cultures which don't have anything in common. To me this sounds just as ridiculous as having a deep affection the European Union. It's just the politics holding them together. The love and patriotism feels fabricated and they don't even try to disprove that.

can you say with 100% certainty that everyone who worked at every company that was involved in every step of the construction of every item in your house that's from America enjoyed and took pride in every moment of what they were doing? if not, then either your products are sub-par, or you have no basis for thinking that pride or nationality is actually important.
all this stuff about pride is all well and good for little mom and pop family owned businesses like carpenters or whatever, but it looks like you're unable to admit that the same logic doesn't apply to the socioeconomic status of an international superpower.

Why yes I can, because I built the fucking thing. Bought all parts from the shop down the street where he makes them from his own factory.

the one secret computer part manufacturers don't want you to know
price doesn't affect computer part longevity
there's two periods, right at the beginning, and at the end of the lifespan when they are most likely to break
spending far more than you should for it doesn't effect it

he's manufacturing intellectual property of nvidia and amd and intel in his own factory???
he's making the microchips there??
guess what bub, you're usin chinese products

List the components. Do it. Tell me how the guy makes the Titans in his backyard and how he has a licence to produce Haswell chips in his basement. Do it.
This quote comes to mind, fuck these people.
I'm pretty sure racists only drive Fords, which are American. And they drink Coors, which is brewed in Golden, Colorado. But the rest is valid.
Why yes I can, because I built the fucking thing. Bought all parts from the shop down the street where he makes them from his own factory.
do you also know everyone who works at amd and nvidia and intel and every single person who constructed the microchips and alloys used in your computer
and then youve got all the companies that do contracts for amd and nividia and intel, supplying them with shit or handling their stuff etc. if a single one of those is Chinese then you have no argument and your precious $12,000 computer is doomed to rust and decay forevermore, perhaps from the corrupting influence of FOREIGNERS and CHINESE PEOPLE
