Funny how he stands in front of a picture of the Constitution, when he believes 'We the People' takes a back seat to Israel's interests.
How is this idiotic statement going against We The People?
How is this idiotic statement going against We The People?
not sure but "all men are created equal" definitely doesn't go with his statement
Israel has to span most of the Middle East in order to kick off the apocalyptic nuclear war that will bring Jesus back. It's quite simple, really. To anyone thinking I'm making a joke, I really wish I was. This is what some people legitimately believe. They believe that, in order for the Rapture to happen, thermonuclear war has to break out between Israel and its enemies.
Except the "Rapture" is an assumption, the Bible does not use this term anywhere. Weird huh? :v:
Louie Gohmert has held the title as dumbest person in congress for a couple years now. It never ceases to amaze me the lengths he will go to uphold that position.
Right, having lived in Israel for a bit too long in my life, just no. Not to mention most of the country hates the guy, but he's generally just a shitty politician in general. He practically bows down to the heavily Orthodox minorities of Israel and generally is a fucktard. What, your mom make you go to church again? Religion serves as a stress relief and sense of hope for much of our species, even if it has been used in malicious ways. Shave the fucking neckbeard and realize that regardless of what your beliefs are, religion has helped us come a long way as a species. And no, you're not edgy.
Not defending Netanyahu but didn't his most recent coalition exclude religious parties?
religion has helped us come a long way as a species. And no, you're not edgy.
Horses helped us develop as a species by transporting us places, does that mean we should sell our cars and buy horses again?
What the fuck Americans why are you bringing bible prophesy in international politics
A lot of these ultra-conservative Christians are pro-Israel because they believe the Jews need to reoccupy the land in order to fulfill the prophecies and thus bring about the end times.
not sure but "all men are created equal" definitely doesn't go with his statement
It's really irrelevant since both lines come from the Declaration, which is just a Dear John letter with King Henry. It has no standing as a legal document.
Don't wanna dismiss your entire thought with a mundane observation like this but; would it even be the most illogical and senseless religious belief these people hold? I don't mean to argue against the Christianity as whole or anything, but come on, they are among the same group that blames gays for natural disasters and often indulge in quite rashly rightist capitalist and consumerist ideologies even tho Jesus was pretty clear in the entire "you really shouldn't care much about earthy possessions" thing. Their beliefs often don't make no sense whatsoever in bigger context of the religion, so you can't be surprised they get even more ridiculous when god's-ex-favourite-kids and the land-where-end-of-the-world-gonna-begin get involved.
Funny, because that's basically what you just did. Even funnier, nowhere in this stream of over-generalizations and insults did you make any accusations that are actually based in reality.
I glad texas is turning more blue than red. They can get rid of this wacko. I like to see more green than anything tho.
So would the Republicans.
Money. Lots, and lots, and lots, and lots of money.
