"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full." Matthew 6:5
well the Bible never said anything about praying in greasy spoon diners, so as long as I'm praying in public there I should be ok

If I pray to satan does it still count?
If I pray to satan does it still count?
Praying is praying.
You can't sue them really unless they're on an interstate or something which was used to classify it as an "interstate commerce" issue during the civil rights era But I wouldn't say someone's a fuckass for being annoyed that they're being punished for not being the majority religion
You might not be able to sue federally, but there's state laws too. I'd think you could sue under that. You can be annoyed, I just feel that a lawsuit is disproportionate response.
I wonder if they would offer this deal to a Muslim who prayed in the diner.
In Britain we pay Muslims to come and eat our food, never mind a discount! Nah but even though I don't have a religion I'd probably do this just for the discount, why not?
Always something new happening in my home state.
I wonder if they would offer this deal to a Muslim who prayed in the diner.

If I went there, I would get a prayer mat out and start doing a Muslim prayer. Just watch their faces.
This discount is not exclusive to Christians. I remember reading on a different source (I will try t find it) that it is more about being thankful than what your beliefs are. [editline]found it[/editline] http://fox59.com/2014/08/04/restaurant-offers-fifteen-percent-discount-for-praying-in-public/
Haugland emphasizes that it’s not about religion, it’s about being thankful. “A lot of people on the internet right now have a lot of negative things to say about it. It’s Christian, or it’s this, or it’s that. It’s not. It’s just an attitude of gratitude,” says Haugland
Doesn't anything technically count as praying.
