why stop there?, put them on all major joints and muscles in your body. You'd be a walking power plant.
That was suppose to be a masturbating joke, but it was a horrible attempt as you can see
Too bad that producing the necessary materials is one of the nastiest procedures in industry. Just like solar cells.
It's almost like you'd have uuuuunnnlliiimiiitteeeedd pooowweeeerrrrr
Am I playing with power now?
So, how long before we can interlace them through the skin in our our hands? Come on think how much your hands move during the day, that's a substantial amount of energy that's not being tapped.
Imagine this applied to the Heart and Lungs, we would become walking generators, being able to power pacemakers and other electronic body implants for as long as we are alive. Screw Deus-Ex's bioenergy that need to be recharged with biocells, this shit is basically unlimited energy until the day we die. Fucking awesome.
Right, now let's begin on the shiny spires, light-speed travel, rebellious machines... oh, and a fanatical hatred of aliens!

It will only make it harder for you to move your hands. Perhaps on the way down from the movement where your hand/leg falls naturally to gravity, but if you do something like put it in your knee, it will only make it harder to walk.
Fuck the handshake buzzer, everyone is now going to be a potential threat...

Next up: Nuclear Fusion. Then we are masters of electricity.
Next up: Nuclear Fusion. Then we are masters of electricity.
Nuclear fusion contained between two thin pieces of paper. THEN WE ARE GODS.
Zero-point energy would make us gods no materials to ever run out or to harvest, and once we would invent energy-matter conversion it would mean unlimited everything
oh no but what if we run out of ZPMs?
within the week old men running the world

I fail to see the problems.
Everyday science makes me go :psyduck:
I want this shit laced through my skin, god damnit I would be a walking fucking battery. IMAGINE YOUR ABILITY TO SHOCK PEOPLE!!
Suddenly, rain.
Time to get DARPA on this shit.
Maximum power!
oh no but what if we run out of ZPMs?
We just steal from the Asurans. [img_thumb]http://x-journals.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/zero_point_module.jpg[/img_thumb] Besides, I'm quite sure one of those can power the entire planet for a couple of decades.

Mobile phone out of energy - Flex it a bit
[img_thumb]http://dubq.ca/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/mgs3-volgin.jpg[/img_thumb] Sup.
Why hello there.
Make a condom out of this stuff.
Make a jacket with this stuff in it. Everytime your phone or mp3 battery dies while on the move, connect the phone to the jacket and charge
Old men, are the future!
It'd be interesting to harvest motion from everyday jobs. Like people who bag groceries or something. I didn't think this through much but by the sounds of it.. it'd make sense.
It reminds me of when people joked about having hamsters run on a wheel to produce energy. Now we can do that and have that energy actually power something.
What I want to be invented: some kind of expanding heat cell that could be used to gather energy in the form of heat in a much more efficient manner currently most burned oil and coal (and nuclear power) goes to waste since we collect the heat from those processes by steam and turbines
This would unfortunately break laws of thermodynamics. You can't gain energy from heat, only from difference of temperatures. Heat is the pollution energy. As far as we know, it can't be utilized again. If somebody found a way how to break the thermodynamic laws, we would be completely done. It would be the ultimate source of energy forever. Yeah, as long as you power a cellphone or something, not a big deal, but people don't seem to realize that it's not magical source of energy from nowhere, but that some effort has to be made.
Can it work with just pressure? Imagine a massive freeway made with this. Thousands of cars would make it a huge power generator.
god damnit I would be a walking fucking battery.
Whatever you say, coppertop.
