Stick a few rechargeable batteries up your ass, put on your powerjacket and go for a jog.
Extra tough work out AND full batteries. :buddy:
I would imagine they would be imbeded into roads and such.
Make guitar strings coated/used at the loop end thingy out of this, drums too, and get every band on earth to use them.
I want this shit laced through my skin, god damnit I would be a walking fucking battery.
IMAGINE YOUR ABILITY TO SHOCK PEOPLE!!
Finally! I could get my own back on that bastard slide at the playground that always used to shock me when I went down it!
WHO'S LAUGHING NOW, SLIDE FROM HELL?!
This would unfortunately break laws of thermodynamics. You can't gain energy from heat, only from difference of temperatures. Heat is the pollution energy. As far as we know, it can't be utilized again. If somebody found a way how to break the thermodynamic laws, we would be completely done. It would be the ultimate source of energy forever.

You will still get tired faster, as you just do the work. Yeah, as long as you power a cellphone or something, not a big deal, but people don't seem to realize that it's not magical source of energy from nowhere, but that some effort has to be made.
Thermal expansion can be converted to energy. That's the point of the cells. It wouldn't be 100% efficient, but it would be better than the turbines we have today.
Shit, why stop at clothing? Line TIRES with this shit, line the suspension too. Cars already do an awesome job staying powered by converting energy from the car's motion into battery power. Catalytic converter, I think it's called? Well imagine that PLUS this to boot. One more step towards fully electric transportation. It'd at least pick up a bit of the slack.
Oooh, this is very sci-fi, innit? Only it's real an' all.
Also, if applied to eyeballs, it'd tap quite a lot of energy.
I'd tap that.

Really, No one thought of that?

Catalytic Converters use heat and titanium or whatever other metals in the Cat to convert some of the toxic exhaust gasses to less toxic exhaust gasses. Also, if the tires were made of this stuff it would/might provide power but it would also make the tires to harder to roll too, I think.

Yeah, but that's not converting heat to enrgy. You are using the difference in volume of the medium at different volumes.
Never talked about converting heat straight to energy. That's the closest we're gonna get, probably.
Build clothing that can utilize this and have a charger pack we can wear. Come home, hoot it up to power grid. bam.
Bam, you will shine a bulb for 10 minutes after wearing uncomfortable patches around your body through whole day.
Compulsive masturbators could power the world.....

What?
