The Human Centipede sequel refused classification, Banned in UK

Well, I'm going to be sure to buy it just to spite the BBFC. I wasn't going to, but I'm not too keen on the idea of saying that a work like this should be banned. It shouldn't. There's no real reason to. "Because someone might copy it" is not a reason to. Someone could copy Rampage, or V for Vendetta, or Ace Ventura, but those films aren't banned.
"There is little attempt to portray any of the victims in the film as anything other than objects to be brutalised, degraded and mutilated for the amusement and arousal of the central character, as well as for the pleasure of the audience,"
Um, in Most FPSes there is little attempt to portray the pain or damage you cause to the opposing troops by shooting them or crushing them with vehicles, and they're objectivised by the little +50points that flash up each time you do it. How is that any different, in fact it's worse because it requires player input and puts the player as the killer.
In both cases, there's no actual harm done, and the audience clearly knows this and will not copy it. Because someone could is not grounds for banishment.
Also, does the BBFC ban sado-masochist, BDSM, or Sub-Dom porn, too, because that seems an awful lot like their reasoning for banning this. And people actually do those.
Amazing, "a Serbian film" was cut and allowed to be sold, this must be really bad. The BBFC does not refuse classification lightly.
I'm not too fussed this won't be coming out in cinemas to be honest, it's very difficult to masturbate in there.
In the sequel, a man becomes erotically obsessed with a DVD copy of the original film – in which the victims are surgically stitched together mouth to anus – and decides to recreate the idea.
that is the worst sequel idea ever

Fourth wall breaking sequels are ungodly underused.
Felt more bizarre then scary.
Does the board really think the audience is incapable of mental distancing from movies?
Oh come on it cant be-
One scene involves him wrapping barbed wire around his penis and raping the woman at the end of the centipede, having become aroused by the sight of his victims being forced to defecate into each others' mouths.
Oh, damn, OW, Oooh, shit.
"The film then focuses on his fantasies and the torture he inflicts. One scene involves him wrapping barbed wire around his penis and raping the woman at the end of the centipede, having become aroused by the sight of his victims being forced to defecate into each others' mouths."
What the FU-
Raped with barbed wire. Really?
So, when's this coming out?
I can understand why they would want to ban this in theaters but I don't see the point in banning dvd sales

IMDB says 2011
This isn't so much a movie as it is torture footage. I can't imagine there is much "story".
It's not authentic footage, just actors and fake blood. Videos of people getting raped are immoral because it involves real people getting hurt, not because some finds it icky. If no real people are getting hurt might still be disgusting, but that's no reason alone to ban the movie.
This movie didn't need a sequel.

The original movie didn't need to be made.
I honestly think the director is just trying to push the limits of the horror genre.

Someone's gotta do it
It's a movie, jesus christ
A serbian film still takes the cake for the most fucked up film ever made.

A newborn baby gets raped in it, enough said.

I seriously wasn't horrified by that at all.
No joke that scene wasn't even that bad. The toothless rape was horrifying IMO.
I don't know rape scene don't horrify me, it's mainly painful thing that do.
Also did anyone fucking read the article? This is supposed to be worse than A Serbian Film. A Serbian Film was able to be released after a certain amount of cuts, this is banned from being released period.
Honestly, nothing of value is lost.
Never saw the original... it can't be that bad, can it?
Have to say, that is a rather good Idea for a sequel. I'm sure it'll be upped somewhere.
They did the right thing
The BBFC are usually pretty good. I don't know who watches this sort of film. It's not like a grindhouse film, or a stupid Crank-esque film.
Someone has seen that a man puts barbed wire on his cock, gets horny over people eating other people's shit, rapes someone and thinks 'that might be entertaining'.
Yeah. Fucking great.
I honstly didn't have any intention of watching this, at all.
Now I know I'm going to watch it.
You know shit's bad when the (our) British government bans it. :v:
It's a movie, jesus christ
It is dangerous to society, this could very well make everyone in Britain start raping each other with barbed wire. It needs to be banned for the greater good.
human centipede was funny as hell i wonder if this one will also be funny???

It's sickening and distasteful, but should not be banned.
