the only reasons a species would suddenly die out is due to sudden changes in climate (our fault), habitat (our fault) or ecosystem (such as introduced species, also our fault)
If that was truly the case, then the world would be horribly overpopulated by ancient species. Prosperity of other types of animals are often the cause of natural extinction as well. Say something happens that causes lions to become even partially better at hunting. Zebra population would die out rather quickly.

I didn't know the World Wrestling Federation took an interest in such things. It's nice to see us all pulling together like this.

I imagine that teaching more advanced members of the ape family to use and maintain firearms and destructive tools would result in a pretty marked decline in animal populations as well.
You see, the joke is that this is essentially what happened, being that humans are basically just fancy apes. This is the point where we all share a knowing laugh. Please take some time to do so now.

Male potency causes the horn so I don't see why not
I wonder how many died in the Vietnam war?
My thoughts exactly. I bet these things were prevalent right before le carpet bombas.
animals don't 'suck at surviving', that's the entire point of natural selection

Well theoretically, we are a totally legit part of the ecosystem, so if they aren't able to compete with us then that's their inferiority. Natural selection would hold that we have free reign over all species due to our position as ultra-next gen apex predator.
Though typically the prey and predator populations should be inversely related, but we're way too good, so that separates us.
