What does death accomplish that indefinite imprisonment does not?

So they don't harm others and don't fuck up society further.

Being a realist is ok. But when it becomes barbaric, IE what you want, then it's unacceptable
Yes, it's unacceptable. By our societies norms. But so is being a criminal. Your logic is one-sided, you say we can't do these things because it's wrong. Well, these criminals ARE doing these things. And in some cases, they go unpunished.
It isn't suffering is it, it's pain for the sake of pleasure. There aren't any real victims in BDSM, it's sex. People have partners.
I am a vigilante.
I disagree.
Those gimp suits are filth, they are a wretch upon society. And because I have no rules and I follow no laws I can do what I please about it.
Yes, we should respect the rights of a criminal who doesn't respect the rights of others.
Yes.
Criminals still have some rights.
thats why Texas has the highest murder rate of all 50 states, yet they commit the death penalty the most right?
There are more variables than that. The reason Texas could have a high murder rate is because of it's cowboy culture. How should I know?
.
They are in prison. They can't affect society in prison.
If you're that worried, muzzle them. You can violate plenty of rights to stop them from talking to the outside world without killing them.
Why death, SPECIFICALLY? Why not cut out their tongues or sew their mouths shut and lock them in a dark room? Furthermore death doesn't stop an affect on society.

I question your moral values, the people who engage in BDSM are willing participants. Victims in crimes, are not. What is hard to understand about this?

I question YOUR moral values. Are you one of those sick freaks?
You're nothing but animals, the whole lot of you. You don't deserve rights.

Death is clean, and allows people to move on. Life imprisonment, requires a guard to clean up and care for a criminal. Prisons are necessary, we can't just execute every convict. It's not right and it's probably not even logically possible.
Also, cutting off organs is pretty sadistic. At least if they're dead, they don't have to live mutilated.

They cost society resources and burden. They can still communicate to society. Parole officers often let out life sentences like they were 30 year sentences.
Muzzling them and sewing their mouth shuts is an eyesore and highly painful. Death using proper methods is painless and instant without much monetary loss.

I'm not in BDSM, no. Which makes me a third party, you should value my opinion even more.
I feel like i'm being trolled by lankist

On the plus side, imprisonment means that they have a chance at redemption and can contribute to society after they have commuted there sentence.
I think vigilantism is bad, except in cases where the justice system can't touch them. And guilt is assured.
Death is clean, and allows people to move on
What people? Who are these other people? Why do we care what the fuck they think? I was under the impression that justice was blind, that it couldn't see these other people.
Also, cutting off organs is pretty sadistic. At least if they're dead, they don't have to live mutilated.
Oh so you're an angel of mercy.
Maybe you should ask THEM if they'd prefer just to lose a tongue.

Which is extremely unlikely considering most people in jail are repeat offenders. Not only that, but even if they become a proper citizen, it is still unlikely they will pay off their cost in jail fees.
How do you draw the line between consensual sadism and torture?
Uh, the consensual part?
I feel like i'm being trolled by lankist
No, you are being intellectually trumped by Lankist. I am not trolling you, I am refuting your stupid opinions.

Because they have to be put through a series of appeals to assure they are* guilty?

Prinum non nocere.
Because of this doctors and medical experts don't participate in executions making it easy to botch up a lethal injection.

Far from brah.
Far from brah.
Uh huh, that's why you refuse to tell me why Death is so necessary.
Is it to make the families of the dead feel better?
Which is extremely unlikely considering most people in jail are repeat offenders. Not only that, but even if they become a proper citizen, it is still unlikely they will pay off their cost in jail fees.
Is that your opinion that most cons are repeat offenders, or a fact?
And who the fuck cares about the cost? What price can you put on a human soul?
A redemption is priceless. For someone to realise the suffering they've caused and to change who they are as a result of it.

And this is coming from someone who just recently condoned killing thieves on the off chance that they might be rapists too.
What price can you put on a human soul?
Uhh that's funny because you have been championing the guy who killed common thieves. Painfully.

Death is a necessity of life. Some people more so than others.
The best reason is justice. But I'd settle for vengeance too. As long as it feels 'right' afterwards. As if the universe is fair.

That's a pretty fucked up philosophy.

Well murder isn't justice, and vengeance isn't justice.
And as long as it feels "right?"
Jesus have you ever read Moby Dick? Surprise! You aren't going to feel right after you fucking MURDER SOMEONE. And if you do, YOU are the same kind of animal!
Uhh that's funny because you have been championing the guy who killed common thieves. Painfully.
We don't know if they were common thieves, It makes me feel better to imagine they deserved it though. There isn't enough justice in this world.

It makes me feel better to think that the 4 year old child that has been kidnapped was asking for it.

that's because he's ripping your arguments apart
