Dinosaurs 'farted' themselves into extinction, British scientists say
They both only got information from the same study and, incidentally, none of the quotes from it on either article mention extinction.
That's journalism for you
Well I'll be a pigeon's uncle, look at "Buck Ofama"'s comments in the OP's link. Your brain will possibly spontaneously combust in the process, so be warned. He gets into an argument about the wording of the article, then proceeds to call everyone libtards and homosexual, etc.
So global warming killed cold blooded animals?
Even assuming that made any sense, and it doesn't, it wouldn't even begin to explain aquatic dinosaurs dying out. They are rather insulated from temperature changes. Even a significant change is unlikely to kill the majority of prehistoric creatures in the ocean.
Nothing about this theory makes any sense.
Animals don't usually die from climate change because they get so hot they burst into flames

Btw, the main factor in the volcanic activity and meteor impact theories is climate change aswell
Nearly everything we know points to climate change as being the main culprit for extinction, it's just that with each theory the cause of the climate change is different
Even back then I bet they blamed it on the dog
Your avatar helps
It has been suggested that they could have had some warm blooded ones, but many of them were of such great size that being warm blooded would have required a ridiculous amount of food in order to simply maintain body temperature.
Birds obviously share a lot in common with their distant ancestors, and are warm blooded, so it makes sense. Though crocodiles also share a great deal in common with their larger dinosaur ancestors and are cold blooded.
Being warm blooded makes you considerably more flexible, but you also have to consume substantially more food.
Really?
He said theory, not shitty Fox article. The only person who mentioned extinction is whoever wrote this piece of arse.

Did you even pay enough attention to this thread to realise the article is just one big joke at Fox's expense?
