They're going really retro I heard. It's going to be Kennedy Approach 2, a sequel to the hottest Air Traffic Controller simulator ever made. And to honor it's predecessor the whole thing is being released on floppy disc.
How about an actually new game. As in, not a sequel/prequel/expansion.

Yeah I heard the same. Didn't believe it at first but businesses in this economy are starting to do things differently.
I hope it's a new series called "New AAA Game"
it has everything thats wrong with new AAA titles as a game.
SimCopter 2
I can't wait for SimAnt 2 with Michael McCann's music
Sim series is Will Wright with Maxis, except for Simgolf which was Sid Meier
I hope it's Terror from the Deep.

Everything is so Sim intertwined that its all a blur to me now
Wouldn't say no to a new XCOM or a revival of Alpha Centauri. But for all we know it could be something completely different.
I want it to be a new Xcom so bad
I know it won't be a new Xcom so bad..
I think it's about time they announced Civ6. It's been 4 years since Civ5 came out and Civ4 came out in 2005, so that's 5 years between.
Even if it is high time Civ6 was a thing, I'm still hoping for new XCOM or Alpha Centauri, hopefully the latter since it's been a long time since we've had an Alpha Centauri game.

It's been 15 years since Alpha Centauri.
Finally, Sid Meier's Railroads! 2
I would welcome an XCOM: Interceptor remake with open arms, actually. The original game was pretty flawed but XCOM:EU proves Firaxis can take an old game and bring it up to standard.

This, I'd like a real successor to Railroad Tycoon 3.
Doesn't EA own the rights to Alpha Centauri?
Doesn't EA own the rights to Alpha Centauri?
hence why its now "Civilization: Beyond Earth"
hopefully itll be alpha centauri all but in name
It has already been leaked here on Facepunch. It will be ''Beyond Earth''
alpha centauri was beyond amazing, I'm super stoked to find out more
Will they live stream the announcement on Twitch?
Please no.
Stacked units were just a pain and made most games of Civ 4 absolutely horrible.
It was fun playing your game.
And then you see a unit moving across your screen.
Then you realize it isn't a unit but over 50 all stacked into one, all deciding to cave your cities in with a big FUCK YOU.
I cannot fucking wait for Civilization in Space god damn oh yes
Sid meier's railroads 2!
Even trough most people joke about a Railroads 2 i got to admit i would love to see a sequel!

Openttd is the closest you can get, and probably the best option.
