Iraqi Militants Kill 500: Mass Grave Found Women and Children Buried Alive

Guys no we can't kill them that's inhumane!!!!
All the more reason to hunt them down and talk them out of it guys! They just don't know it's bad, we have to explain!
But killing them constantly is only training them. Unless you wish to go about killing every captured member of ISIS, and not taking POWs for any of their collaborators, you are not going to win. Guerillas tend to not lose because the aggressor needs to win in the first place.
How does that even work. If killing them does nothing, how would killing them help you "win"?
And about killing every single one member of ISIS military comes by, I don't mind. This kind of ~human beings~ don't deserve any trial, and having one would have absolutely no point at all.

What does that even mean? How does it train them?
And I'm not saying don't take prisoners but your original idea made no sense.

How are is a poorly trained militia going to adapt to be killed by undetectable planes?

Poorly trained militia?
Good God...these guys aren't your typical pashtun ak 47 (Not even AKM) fighters...check it up. They have been fighting non stop since 2003. That's more than 10 years of experience and warfare.
"How are some asian farmers going to adapt to be killed by untouchable bombers 24/7?"
Well, I don't fucking know, but what doesn't kill them all in one shot makes them stronger.
EDIT: Sorry, mixed in the Taliban's starting date vs US with the ISIS one.
Wrong thread!! Snipped!!!

A lot of them are foreign fighters who have been in warfare before, but they are still poorly trained. Experience in warfare doesn't necessarily translate to being trained well enough in combat to battle vastly technological advanced forces.
And North Vietnam forces suffered horrible losses to bombing throughout the Vietnam war, that's a poor comparison anyway though. The Taliban in Afghanistan has been decimated by drone strikes.
In no way does the negative effects of getting blown up by drones outweigh the positive.

Guerillas are only successful at repelling land invasions and occupations.
Like Bluth said, having death rain down upon you when you crawl out of your hiding places is literally impossible to fight back against. There's no way to learn to cope with that, they can only hide from it. And even the top dog of al-qaeda could only hide for so long.
IS is more militarized and equipped than you may think. They are the most well-funded terror organization on earth, and they have a ton of stolen American weapons, and they consider themselves their own country and have cities and governments. At this point I don't think they're equatable to guerrilla groups like Al Qaeda. They make no effort to hide who they are.

They might as well be considered a rouge nation at this point.

The US dropped more bombs on the NVA than they did in all of world war two and the US still were defeated.

I wouldn't be using their own propaganda pictures as a way to clearly show them.

its scary to think how much money and firepower these guys have, I know the US can fight them but they couldn't do it alone, I just don't know how I feel to have other nations roped into this

Please US Airforce, they are in a row.

To begin with, what kind of effects on international relations do the IDF strikes on Gaza have?
No no, don't think I'm saying they have the same effects or are the same, but think about it.
We know only military targets are being targeted, so for now no civilians involved am I rite? Imagine you are those dudes and you know this:
-You got a vast extension of territory
-Cities and civilians included
-In order to strike at human or high value targets, OPFOR needs HUMINT. For other targets SIGINT and IMINT is more than enough.
If you combine those, ISIS has a very powerful media weapon at their disposal. And they are also widely known for their social media capabilities. Its basically shouting for some Gaza stuff. You just mix or provide misinformation -which at this point, we can safely say the US is not 100% proof against that- and you got a very ugly situation.

AGM-114K, the equivalent of a fuel air bomb. You'll only hear the missile fly towards you, about .2 seconds of the explosion, and then total darkness. That's about as humane as your gonna get.

I think all the cutting off of heads, murdering thousands and stuff has kinda killed their social networking ability with anyone other than those already fucking nuts. They are not even fucking close to the same thing.

How wrong could you be.
It's easy. Just go an occupy villages and take hostages.
No one in the right mind wants to make a sustained bombing campaign against civilian targets. Eventually they won't need to fight back because the country they are in would see them as less of a threat than the bombers.

We don't know. I really hope I am wrong and these guys dont start putting civilians where they shouldn't be.
Hamas sacrifices a shit ton of people and yet they've got 50-ish percent of approval. Of course they are not the same, but I said this in another thread and I say it here: dont dismiss their capacity INSIDE their territory just because they look crazy to us. Their media ops are directed at the population they control. Not some teenager in the middle of NYC.
Remember how the pashtuns behave when a long only-once seen cousin is killed...the same albeit is not identical logic can be applied to this situation.
Even so, the general opinion does not approve of drone strikes that include civilizan casualties. Even if they are just a small % when related to enemy combatant casualties.
[editline]11th August 2014[/editline]
Ah, besides, they have dropped the 100 % guerrilla warfare and turned to conventional warfare. They do still use guerrilla tactics when approaching cities (fifth columns and so on).
I hope future generations remember these murderers and spit on their memory.

It turns out when your local area has been involved in a couple of wars and shit for about 30 years then you tend to get good at not getting shot, since the shit insurgents either get shot or captured.
That's why ISIS actually hammered the Iraqi's early on, cause the ones you're dealing with now have a fair bit of military knowledge and equipment, there's videos of ISIS cunts running about with NVG's doing night ops and shit and I don't remember hearing about those rag tag farmers with AK's blapping cunts wearing NVGs in the middle of the night.
I hope they line them up against a wall and shoot them, ultimate scum.
And be just like these sick savage fucks who only kill for the sake of it?
My opinion - at least brutally torture them first
