A group of Chinese and Turkish evangelical explorers say they have found wooden remains on Mount Ararat in eastern Turkey.
I'm calling bullshit.
Haven't they claimed to have found that ark in several places all over the world?
Yep, both Noah's Ark and the Ark of the Convenant have been 'found' (Or at least that's what they say) in several places.
For example, this monastery in Africa claims to have the Ark [of the C.] but they don't let anyone see it. It's just an instrument to control the local village.
That which can be accepted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

Who else would spend shit-tons of money to dig in the ice for something that may or not be real.
Yeung Wing-Cheung, from the Noah's Ark Ministries International research team
Really?
raise the horde
this doesn't support biblical "literalism" or fundamentalism at all
the ark was a well known legend before the bible was even written, I wouldn't be surprised if it was rooted in an actual event
most of the shit in the bible is just a retelling of commonly accepted legend
Of course it is, but they're attributing it to the Christian bible and to Noah.
Haven't they claimed to have found that ark in several places all over the world?
Well it was a big ark, I'm sure the remains span a large area.
[SP]Or it's just all bullshit[/SP]
Who else would spend shit-tons of money to dig in the ice for something that may or not be real.
I mean the discovery is bullshit. These are obviously biased archeologists.

Archaeologist.

Yeah the fact that they're 99.9% sure so quick after the find gives me the idea they're a bit biased.
But this isn't faith, this is "proof" or "evidence"
It's a fucking boat on a hill.
Too bad the hill you speak of is 14,000ft above sea level. Seems more to me like a mountain then.

He was speaking figuratively.
I've heard this before.
This is crazy, I wonder if he was a Turk :awesome:
He was speaking figuratively.
You best be restin' on yo bible! you dun want no evul spirits to come an attack ya during yo sleep.
there is possibility that there is factual evidence behind the ark itself, because it isn't entirely impossible that a flood couldn't be explained rationally like the water of the nile turning into "blood"

not saying that this isn't bullshit

Must be true.

All I could think:
"Evan bastar- backstab- Backster!". Funny movie...
I'm surprised the Turkish government let them look, given that Turkey is 99% Muslim. Christians have thought it was on Mount Ararat for a long time. There was a documentary about it a few years ago.
the new god is now Noah's ark.
Noah's Ark bless us all.
"We're not sure if it's the Noah's Ark 100%, but we're 99.9% sure that it is."
Random guy at the site: Hey, why is there a pair of T-Rex Skeletons in one of these stalls?
I heard about this more than a year ago.
It's just now making news?
If it's a big boat, I would wonder how it got up 11,000 ft. Then again I don't know about where they found it, is there a lake/sea/etc close by?
