I can kind of understand wanting to engage in some kinda weird nostalgic happy-place nonsense like this after having your world shook up like this election seemed to do for a lot of people, but doing it in public sounds... Incredibly embarrassing, honestly.
It's kind of like going to a nickelback concert, the only people who will know will be those you tell and those who attended it too
Arts and crafts really are a good way to de-stress. I can understand why people already stressed from studying for these kind of qualifications would want to take their minds off of this particularly divisive election. When heavy stuff is going on in the world around me, I find it helps me to take a break from social media and forums, put on a podcast, get out my sketching pencils and draw Space Marines for a few hours. Why should I care what you find childish when ive found a method that helps my peace of mind? I don't get why people are offended by this kind of thing, I could just as easily bag on people for smoking when they get stressed out because "it's unhealthy!", but I don't see any reason to.
You had a go at me the whole time we were together back when I was smoking :v:
Imagine how patronised those students would feel to be offered fucking colouring in and play doh
They deserve it if you really that emotionally distressed from a fucking election. How are you gonna survive in this world?
I love running. Even if it's just to the corner shop and back :v: Every day (or every other day) I collapse in a heap with my boyfriend afterwards. Fuck me does it feel fantastic, plus it works absolute wonders for mental health.
imagine caring this much of what people do. If it helps them feel better and i aint hurting anyone then who gives a shit. Who gives a shit about a university offering it either, if you dont like it then dont go there lol.
What the fuck. No ball pit?
They deserve it if you really that emotionally distressed from a fucking election. How are you gonna survive in this world?
In denial and delusion?
if you need therapy because someone you don't like became president for four years then you're simply pathetic. imagine actually having to deal with the real-world when something as small and petty as politics turns you into a mental wreck

Wanting to chill out does not make you pathetic.
Stress-relief activities are cool and all but... This seems... a bit much.
I've said this before, but my college has PS4s, XBones, and WiiUs set up in the campus store for everyone to play if they need some stress relief and can't afford their own game consoles. It's really nice to have if you're bored as fuck or stressing out about an exam you have to take in two hours. You want to hang out with your friends and play some Mario Kart? Go for it, it's already installed. This is just kinda sad. [editline]a[/editline] We also have a gym that, by being a student here, all you have to do is walk in and go "I'd like to be a member" and you're set, if that's your sort of thing. The real kicker here is that this is a community college that you can go to for free* as long as you've lived in the area for 4 years or longer**. It's not a University that you would expect to have the money for this sort of thing. *You still need to pay for books, but even something like a Pell grant can take care of that for you. **It goes in quarters per year. If you lived here for two years, they pay for half your tuition. Three years, 75%, etc. [editline]16th November 2016[/editline]
This whole time, I thought we were choosing the person whose moral and philosophical views will be used to make decisions that affect every aspect of our society, but apparently something "small and petty" like politics has got nothing to do with that.
I mean I really didn't want Trump to win but you don't see me having a mental breakdown How the fuck are you going to function in society if basic politics turns you into braindead mush?
