True, although you don't know me.
You don't know fulgrim and yet you're questioning what he's saying despite having no proof to the contrary.
And you know what I meant by knowing :/
I just find it hard to swallow how many incidents seem to happen around you, if you feel I am being unpleasant for questioning your post then perhaps you should evaluate your own posting style.
It's not the questions I suspect of being unpleasant but the intent behind them.
You can't imagine a stabbing happening in someones' local area? You seriously have difficulty believing my neighbour's car was vandalised?
See this is why I said you were sheltered, I wasn't even trying to insult you, that's just the only apt way I can think of to describe this perspective.
If you have difficulty buying the idea that "Crime is happening in my area" then you are sheltered, If you are just questioning the validity of my posts because you don't like what I'm saying, you are being unpleasant.
You really should refrain from insults and accusation as it only shows you up.
There's that Irony again.
As always, to be take with a grain of salt...

Expect things to get very, very nasty from here.

It was irresponsible to call this election after triggering Article 50. The Brexit talks are supposed to begin within about two weeks of the election. What are we going to do if there's a hung parliament and the coalition negotiations drag out, or fail completely? Not very strong and stable
[editline]31st May 2017[/editline]
That was obviously the plan, too. May called the election at a time when she could plausibly argue, because of her own actions, that the only responsible thing to do was re-elect the Conservatives. But if it backfires she'll go down in history as a bit of a twat

Bit late for that don't you think :v:
Imagine: Two Conservative prime ministers, in the space of a single year, being forced out of power because they called a vote they were certain they would win

I posted this the day the snap election was called while it still looked like Labour would get trounced.
"Because calling for a vote and basing ones political career on the outcome of said vote worked so well for the last PM."
I don't even care if Labour lose. I just want May to have this whole "I'm gonna get 100000000 seat majority" thing backfire.

I agree.
Don't get me wrong, Labour winning would be a dream come true, but honestly anything that restores a little more balance to parliament and helps reduce the steady stream of trash policy the Tories have been throwing out since they got into power would be welcome. Moreso if it was their own arrogance and hunger for power that brought it about.

dunno if we have a general thread for the election yet - but lmao
If the Tories don't have a majority, who is more likely to make a coalition? Surely it would be Labour with the SNP?
I feel like the Lib Dems are much more likely to coalition with Labour this time around in the event of a hung parliament and a clear shot at a cohesive, progressive coalition forming a majority. I can't see them coalitioning with the Cons again, not after last time, I haven't been following much on Farron but I doubt he's that stupid.
SNP and Labour are a sure thing, Labour need the seats and most SNP voters are ex-Labour. The SNP being in a position of real tangible power in Westminster will likely postpone Indyref2 indefinitely.

If we got this result then we'd need a labour, SNP, ld, and some ni party to get the Tories out.
Lib Dem's manifesto specifically said they would not coalition with anyone. The most likely coalitions would probably be LAB + SNP & CON + UKIP
Sure for Conservatives and UKIP since May panders these voters anyway.
But for Labour and SNP, Is very unlikely do for most Scottish people are going see this as betrayal for Scotland's land, several who are massively disillusioned ex-Labours turned SNP voters are going stay home instead, And while some them will going vote Scottish Greens and Scottish Conservatives if they make coalition.
I hope neither may nor corbyn win to be honest, one's an old hag who just seems intent on cutting the NHS and the other is someone who has absolutely stupid ideas about our foreign policy

What's wrong with Labour's foreign policy? They still support trident, and likely the only thing to change would be that we wouldn't involve ourselves in wars unless we really had to.
[editline]31st May 2017[/editline]
Also ukip have no seats to coalition with if that poll was reality.

Labour's foreign policy is literally ask questions shoot later.
You complain when it's shoot first ask questions later (blair), so... I'm confused.

I want to believe, but I can't see that many Tory voters switching to Labour. We'll see if any of the next round of polls edge towards YouGov's latest.
So last night's "small business owner" who couldn't vote Labour because they want to get rid of zero hours contracts...

What's a medium business owner then?
Lib Dem's manifesto specifically said they would not coalition with anyone. The most likely coalitions would probably be LAB + SNP & CON + UKIP
Why would the conservatives go into a coalition with UKIP, they don't have any seats (well they have 1 anyway) and are unlikely to win any, their support collapsed in the local elections.
