Thieves? Men, women and children in the middle of nowhere getting an invitation to barrel up some gas that would otherwise just run into the dirt? You're pretty disgusting you know.
If this was America's fault, everyone would be all "Stupid americans can't do anything right!" but since it's Germany, you're all "Fuck yea go germany you show those stupid civilians!".
Sieg Heil

Oh come on, they are living in a warzone. With a little common sense you can expect that to happen.

you're pretty dumb
This is the shit that makes them hate us even more, we're there to win them over and this isn't helping at all
Oh well.
Fucking American scum can't do anything right
Also I don't get why Germany is getting all the credit in this bombing, all they did was request it, the U.S. Airforce were the ones who actually dropped the bombs. :hitler:
Uhh, typically when you are military allies with someone you tend to trust their intel and when they say "please bomb this" you bomb that without questioning every word out of their mouth.

Are you stupid? This is terrible regardless of the flag that was on the paperwork or the aircraft.
Some new stuff
Witness Mohammad Daud, 32, told AFP the militants had been trying to transport the tankers across a river to villages in Angorbagh. "They managed to take one of the tankers over the river. The second got stuck so they told villagers to come and take the diesel," he said.
"Villagers rushed to the fuel tanker with any available container that they had, including water buckets and pots for cooking oil. "There were 10 to 15 Taliban on top of the tanker. This was when they were bombed. Everyone around the fuel tanker died."

Provincial Police Chief Rasaq Yaqubi said 81 were killed -- 56 Taliban and 25 "thieves," who he said were trying to steal fuel from the tankers.
Who cares, it's somehow the fault of Americans because they're dumb and fat and do everything wrong.
Oh come on, they are living in a warzone. With a little common sense you can expect that to happen.
If you saw a car crash involving a truck outside your house, would you expect to get blown to shit and back for running to help? Or catch shrapnel for sitting and watching, even. Similar situations.
They may live in a warzone, but they do live there first and foremost.
Okay then the US Air force can have the blame for blowing up 60 odd innocents then.
I wonder what called in the strikes, if it was a German patrol I'm surprised it wasn't called off. Makes me want to think they didn't actually know where it was and called in a search and destroy strike or something. Anyway, Its unfortunate that this happened like this. Collective responsibility people.
Actually going off of all 4 stories (NATO's, and the 2 Local's) that about half or more of the killed were militants.

Germany said about 50 fighters were killed and.... acknowledged some civilians may have died...
Local government spokesman said ... dozens of weapons scattered around ... more than 70 killed, at least 45 militants.
local governor said 72 were killed and 15 wounded. ... 30 dead ... insurgents, including four Chechens and a local Taliban commander ... rest were probably fighters or their relatives...

Yeah, Still I find it odd how most of the posters are praising Germany when the USAF executed the bombing. :frown:
Also Lankist, why does steam kept telling me you blocked me?

That's good then. Still, the responsibility for any civilian loss of life is shared. I was being sarky with that comment.

Also considering a Taliban Spokesman stated that 500 civilians swarmed to the truck to get free fuel after they got stuck in mud trying to ford a river.
Reminds me of this:

It's just a guess but it may have something to do with the fact that I blocked you.
Lol
Go Germany! Bomb those bastards to hell!

Speaking of which, Didn't Germany recently change their rules of engagement that allows the them to take offensive action in a theater of conflict instead of being limited only to returning fire.
It's Blitzkrieg Time :hitler:

The fuck are you talking about a car crash, the trucks got stuck in mud trying to ford a river whilst being chased by German forces.
So yeah, if you saw a HIJACKED TRUCK get stuck in the ditch out side of your house with a bunch of Taliban fighters with AK-47s and RPGs around it trying to get it unstuck, would you try and go help them, or stay the fuck back.
Why did you do that? :ohdear:
Because I'm tired of you trying to re-hash two month old arguments while I'm in the middle of working.

The Germans might not, but America will Just like we did back in World War 2! :911:
This is the worst part about war. The innocents that get killed
Oh, so it ain't as bad if just soldiers die? No... The worst part about war IS war. Disgusts me that we need to kill eachother to prove our points.
Jesus Christ Germany, if you don't want em to steal fuel there are more subtle methods.
Oh, so it ain't as bad if just soldiers die? No... The worst part about war IS war. Disgusts me that we need to kill eachother to prove our points.
I think it is a beautifully integrated part of the human condition, without war we most certainly would not be human, we would be gods. And being a god is entirely boring.
Wanna fight about it?
