The reason theres a lot of hate towards Muslim terriost is because the media is more focused on them, can you recall the white guy who crashed his plane into the IRS building. Yes there are Muslim terroist yes there are white black mexican terriost etc. They just aren't well covered by media because the everyone wants to bash on the Muslims' for whatever reason its just a fad it will end hopefully in a year when a new batch of immigrants come to the United States.
or maybe because it's more frequent and the attacks are usually of larger scale?

this totally justifies stereotyping 1.5 billion muslims.

I'm not stereotyping, I'm using it as a reason to criticize Islamic violence. I haven't criticized ordinary muslims before on this forum, only the ones who act like buffons. By the way there are 2.1 billion christians on this planet, more than the number of muslims, and the amount of religious violence they commit now a days absolutely pales in comparison to what the Muslims do. This does mean something.. and hints towards a problem Islam has with violence lately.
I bet no one would be complaining if the thread title was "Two African-Americans caught throwing acid to female victims".
I would. We aren't Stormfront.
Martyrdom, again, is not exclusive to religion.
Because Insurgents never attack military right? they literally ignore soldiers and attack civilians
lol, you're a fucking tool
blowing up churches with black people, killing gays, bombing abortion clinics, killing census workers
kinda common, really
in the last 200 years of US history, there's been like 3 successful terrorist attacks by Muslims
[editline]03:15AM[/editline]
I don't generalise Christians as being all terrorists.
Again, against Americans it's pretty much all against military.
[editline]03:17AM[/editline]
seriously, it was 5 fucking guys. Your useless racist ramblings aren't exactly proving anything other then you're an asshole. I don't even know what your argument is. I know what you're trying to say, of course you'll deny it.
soo, in other words

might be a good idea for you to stop posting in threads regarding sensitive topics since all you do in them is cause massive dramatic arguments and flame other posters. it happens almost every time.
I couldn't agree more.
Islam is a religion of peace. Apparently.
Just like Christianity, no?
Just like Christianity, no?
Yeah, they're all hypocrites.
there was ethnic violence in the region even before the US showed up, although they did make matters worse.
A kid getting beaten to death because he's gay is an unfortunate event, but absolutely pales in comparison to what Islamic conspirators and perpetrators carry out.
It's still fucking terrorism. And America is a first world country that's not currently controlled by a corrupt military and is a war zone.
Do you think Im an Islamophobe?
You obviously are.
I am merely pointing out that there is a much higher frequency of religiously affiliated attacks under Islam then there are with the other religions. This can't be denied.
When Italy, Uganda, the US, etc and other prominent Christian nations are in the same situation as Iraq, you tell me if Terrorism stays the same

you can critise ANY violence, the fuck are you talking about?
Islam is violent because their countries are fucking war zones.
That's like me saying all blacks are violent and violence is prominent in blacks because there's a lot of poverty involving them

people make arguments in debates? WHAT IS THIS
lol the Islamophobes herd together to tell people not to argue because they're right
I've spent a year of my life studying Islam, briefly traveling in the middle east. But clearly I'm an IsLaMoPhObE.
I've come to realize that the idea of religion itself is foolish, however let people believe what they will I have no objections to that. But it all ends the same way, they begin killing people in the name of their belief, or forcefully converting others[sp]Every major religion has done this[/sp]. I affiliate myself with no religion, yet that makes me a "Christian hypocrite" when I agree that some people should quit rageposting around in a circle of morals and stereotyping, that's been argued to death (only to be revived time and time again). Call it a debate, you're new and original.
Yes, continue calling people names on an internet forum and defend one of the world's major religions not only in the number of followers it has but also in the amount of bloodshed that has been caused by it. Not all Muslims want Christians (aka all of America in their eyes) dead and I will respect those that don't, just the same as I respect Christians that don't hate gays etc.
However I'd easily bet on Muslims having the most extremists out of any religion at this time, it could have been forged from the never ending wars in their homelands because you won't walk away from something like that unchanged and it's also a very different environment to grow up in from what we're used to.
Also remember that Islam is a very dedicated religion with some traditions and rules that require a lot of devotion which shows that religion is more important to them much more-so than the majority of Christians it would seem.
An Ulama, probably an Imam (a spiritual leader of the community/educated legal scholar) approved their plan to attack the base in the belief that it was justified through the "Jihad of the Sword" which is admittedly complex and often misconstrued I'd rather not get into it. Any respectable Imam would have voiced his disapproval at the idea of an attack. I could be wrong but I've never heard of a bishop (a spiritual leader of the community/educated legal scholar) agreeing to anything like that but I know that I could very well be wrong and I'll have links up to my eyeballs telling me otherwise.
So defend them and attack the stereotypes surrounding them all you want, but beware you likely wouldn't know if that Middle Eastern looking guy with the backpack is just an average nice guy walking through the crowded shopping center, or if he intends on incinerating you and himself with a bomb until it's too late. All because of an ancient book.[sp]and if you're gay watch out for those Christians they'll beat you to death[/sp].
Religion just makes me sick, now I've got a terrible headache as I'm sure you do if you read all of this pointlessly long wall of shit.
In this case, mentioning their religion in the title IS appropriate, because it IS relevant to the story - they were planning to attack in the name of Islam. If they were planning to attack an army base for fun, mentioning their faith wouldn't be necessary.

For fun? They said it was in response to the west "oppressing muslims" in the middle east.
And there you go - there's the Islamic basis for their attacks, valid or not. Thus, it's worth mentioning.
They attacked for political purposes.
One of them wanted to become a martyr and they sought an official fatwa. Tell me there's no religious basis - they sought to do Allah's will and "save" their fellow Muslims.
I wonder how many people here are friends with a Muslim, and I'm pointing fingers at the ones who are making dumb generalisations of the entire Muslim population. I know a few Muslims, and they are great men. Also do people not know of extremist groups of other religions? Westboro Baptist, anyone? Oh but wait, everyone has got to hate on Muslims. Both Christiainity and Islam have their extremists, as do other religions, but people should get over it.
Sure, the media does a great job portraying Islam as evil as it is now the "thing" the media wants to hate on since the Cold War ended. Sensationalising is going really good for the media, and it just happens that the media wants to put "Muslim" or "Islam" in the headline of any news story possible so as to continue brainwashing impressionable assholes who can't make up their own opinions and doing so make them hate a certain populace, for reasons I don't even know why. I suppose people have got to hate something, but we'll never get peace on Earth with this bullshit.
Anyone who hates Islam deserves to die a painful death, so do people who hate any other religion, as well as some Atheists who will never be at peace and try their best to preach to religious folk that their beliefs are bullshit. In case anyone is wondering, I'm agnostic.
Can't they just rename it to "NFSW" Army base, so the muslims will be like "Oh, no, our religion won't allow us to look at this!". :v:
people make arguments in debates? WHAT IS THIS
there's a difference between debating and calling people "fucking tools", "assholes", and whatever else can be found in your post history.

Fuck off, all religions are bad and should be portrayed as such reguardless of creed, they caused the holocaust, the current wars and they've been causing tons and tons of wars through the century, they've contributed to massive amounts of terror, and if you defend them like this, you're rooting for the source of all evil.
No, really, religion had The Pope, The Inqusitors, Hitler and The Republicans.
What more does it need to show that it's the source of all evil?
What the fuck.
Here we go
The Q'uran says so. Look for yourself, it's in the book.
And stop defending the fucking extremist muslims. If you're gonna do so, then can you PLEASE find events where Christians, Jews or Buddhists planned to attack or kill someone for the cause of their religion? i doubt you can find that many about that, because only the extremist Islamists do so.
and im not talking about the medieval shit, im talking about modern times.

Pickthal: And argue not with the People of the Scripture unless it be in (a way) that is better, save with such of them as do wrong; and say: We believe in that which hath been revealed unto us and revealed unto you; our Allah and your Allah is One, and unto Him we surrender

Uhhh... It's "Arabian", stop writing so fucking weirdish.
Also: There's tons of events, like recently two girls tried to hurl a third girl off a cliff just because she was a lesbian and christians are totalarian fags with the highest defition of "god-complex".
Religion does shit all the time, I don't care which religion who does it, I just bundle it up as one, since they're all equally stupid in the long run.
