Hey I remember this image, it was photoshopped to make the brick look bigger iirc
I can confirm that it isn't. They really are that big, it's ridiculous.
I can confirm that it isn't. They really are that big, it's ridiculous.
I can confirm that it is, because I've got one like a few meters from me and it isn't that long.
I can confirm that it is, because I've got one like a few meters from me and it isn't that long.
From what I remember of that bastardized thing it was. I couldn't fit it anywhere, I had to let it be on top of the damn box itself.
nice strawman but rly if you dont understand that they actually have a really good reason to bundle the kinect with the xbox one then youre just a fuckin idiot that wants to hate microsoft because its cool
What is this good reason you are talking about then?
What is this good reason you are talking about then?
no-one wants to develop a game hinging on something that hasn't been widely adopted yet - making the kinect mandatory is a great incentive for developers to give the kinect more impactful role in video games which would (microsoft hoping) take it out of its gimmicky stage take physx, for example. it's a great gpu-accelerated physics library, but the fact that it's only available to a certain demographic keeps developers from making actual gameplay-changing features from the gpu-accelerated portion (because a large portion of people would miss out on that gameplay)
From what I remember of that bastardized thing it was. Just as fucking unwieldy though
Where's the grounding on that damn thing?
thats most likely for a cheap basic circuit. If it were for a console it would be polarized, meaning one prong would be larger than the other. This gives a basic ground, not as good as a proper ground wire though. Fucked if i know how it works however. [editline]1st July 2013[/editline]
I don't think the average console user has the know how on taking apart a console and cleaning the PSU.
The average console user should NOT be cleaning a psu. If Microsoft made that a maintenance recommendation, there would be several lawsuits from people injuring themselves accidentally touching a charged capacitor, or, knowing the console userbase, doing it while the device is turned on.
I can confirm that it isn't. They really are that big, it's ridiculous.
Just quickly measured it. The brick is just over 21cm, the xbox is about 29cm.
Good, my xbox 360's power brick is on the computer tower. Annoying.
I sure hope not, I'm european :v:
[t]http://0.tqn.com/d/goeurope/1/0/c/l/1/plug-adapter.jpg[/t] you europeans have funny looking plugs
