Hmm, how will this affect England? I heard a while back that the GB pound is the strongest currency in the world.
The worlds most stable currency is the swiss franc.

In all honesty, the power shift is inevitable. China's sheer population, resources and huge export trade is giving them ever-growing economic power.
It'll be interesting to see how things are in 50 years time.
Being British it doesn't matter, our government bends over and takes it up the arse from most governments so we should be fine through the transition after being teabagged by China's government.
So basically this will make the dollar even less worth and maybe make buying stuff from out of country cheaper?
No, stuff will cost the same but salaries will fall, thus making everything more expensive.
China is not going to appreciate the fact that one day America will be forced to default on that growing $1.7 trillion dollar debt loan.
Wouldn't the defaulting cause quite nasty economical consequences within America?
The Yuan is worthless because that it gives China a great trade advantage. They intentionally depreciate their currency.
Yep. A weak currency is good for exporting, a strong one for importing.
