oh okay
This looks good for eroding your eyes out of your head.
We better keep an eye out for this one, right guys?

This isn't "In the news"
I came up with this idea years ago.
:EDIT:
This post is confusing the people who think this is real.

Well everyone thread is over we had a good run but ANIMEPHREAK135 had this idea years ago. I mean we're all pretty late and there is no point discussing about this humorous video as the facepunch user ANIMEPHREAK135 beat us to it. Damn and I was having such a good time
of course it works its a new way to fuck up your eyes!
Haha, so many people think this is real.
This concept well summarised:
So from what I can see (if this is real) it's two muscle stimulating pads placed next to the eyes, then once enabled it causes small, pulsating electrical currents to move your eye rapidly, similar to that of a shutter on a camera. Neat idea, but it for one it looks like it could hurt your face after a while, and two there has to be some sort of negative consequence for using this.
It's not real
Oh god someone make a gif of his face with his eyes going berserk
Got a much better one in the works it'll be done in like 5 minutes
Are those devices sending electronic pulses into your eyelids? If they are, that's very dangerous, if even a single millisecond of that electric stream reaches your synapses in your brain, it could kill you :colbert:
Or so what my biology teacher has taught me :buddy:
A millisecond is not a unit of electricity so you must have a shitty teacher
Oh man, that was a little unexpected. I thought it was gonna be real too.
But seriously, this year at CES, a few companies actually had some non-glasses 3D displays. Sony showed off a portable 3D Blu-ray player. Sharp had a 3D phone.
But obviously, this isn't brand new concept, as evident from the Nintendo 3DS. It's nice to get away from active shutter glasses, because those fuckers cost $120+, which is stupid. Most TVs only come with 1 or 2 pairs, so it just adds to the expense.
3D glasses make your eyes hurt, this will make your eyelids hurt :v:

Don't get too down about it. I'll let you pay me for use of the idea, I accept money orders and rubles.

Uh, at CES they showed off "glassless 3D displays" for mobile phones and even 3D projectors where you don't need the glasses, I'd rather stick to that....
That looks dangerous to be honest
looks like he's downloading info from the matrix
I'd be too scared that my eyes would get stuck that way.

But then you would be able to see the whole WORLD in 3d! :downs:

Yet people survive getting hit by lightning

(at least sometimes they do)
Oh jesus christ eye breaking things right there.
the Japanense are developing auto-stereoscopic monitors so in the next 3/5 years it'll go mainstream
I'd rather use glasses, thank you.
Looks like his eyes are having a seizure
He can take off with those eyelids.
