Who the fuck makes a SINGLE-PLAYER ONLY fighting game? That's beyond retarded.
what.
I've played alot of Soul Calibur solo, never playing with someone else.
It isn't beyond retarded, it might be bad considering there is a bigger market but there isn't not a market for single player fighting game.
And.. uuhm at least they are honesst?????????/
Wow
They don't give a single fuck do they?

Such an occasion is how Lord Fanny and his Fanny Whacker stick were born. Every time he got hit, it sounded like a tiny dog howling.
Meanwhile, in a Namco/Bandai meeting...
"According to our research mobile games are expanding and growing in the video game market, and the only theory for this is that people enjoy microtransactions far more than buying the game whole, therefor we think all future games in any long-lasting series should completely abandon the core fanbase in favor of pay-to-win whales."
Seriously, I'm not even a big SC fan but this just drives me crazy, fighting games should pretty much always have multiplayer, even if it's just 1v1 local fighting there is no reason it shouldn't exist. It's like the CEO of Namco was so convinced microtransactions will be the next Jesus they just straight up gave any core fans of the series a big middle finger in favor of the two or three people that will actually enjoy buying a game one or two percent at a time.
Will there at least be an achievement for buying all of the gear in the game? It could be something like:
"Congratulations, you spent at least 4 or 5 times what this game is actually worth! Start the second playthrough for more challenge and more expensive gear!!!"
And in a few months' time, they'll be wondering why nobody is giving them money for their game, they'll blame it on piracy, and then cancel the series due to lack of interest.
You know, like Dead Space.
Dead Space still makes me so confused inside. I absolutely love the franchise to death, but never want to see another installment ever again.
My heart hopes that a Dead Space 4 would actually be a Dead Space 2: Part 2, but my brain knows that it would be Mass Effect 3: Part 2: Guest starring Dungeon Keeper Mobile

I want to see another Dead Space 2; as well. Fucking amazing game. Hell I'd even take another venture down the path of Isaac Clarke but I'm afraid of what EA would force on the franchise. I want to see another dead space game capture just how dark and alone Dead Space 1 could feel.
