i agree with this man i propose we overthrow obama, then overthrow the next president, then overthrow the next, and so on. its what the founding father would've wanted
It's our duty as American citizens!
ugh you don't know anything about the founding of the US at all. the constitution doesn't give anyone the right to overthrow the government. It gives people the right to keep the government in control by participating in it. They didn't overthrow the british because they "didn't like them", they overthrew the british because they had no representation. The colonists had no say in how their nation was run. You do. You are able to vote. You have a say. If you lose, tough luck, but a majority of the people chose different from you.
So you would say that America and the British, who at the time were best buddies and had pizza night every friday, decided to up and oust them suddenly because America had no say in what toppings were on the pizza? But other than that they were still chums and no hard feelings?
How's about you look below that
What am I looking for exactly? Something that's just going to reaffirm what I've already said?
i agree with this man i propose we overthrow obama, then overthrow the next president, then overthrow the next, and so on. its what the founding father would've wanted
there's more than one founding father. there's also abraham lincoln and davy crockett
I was talking about Stephen Harper there, not Obama
Except he's on thin ice as it stands.
That was actually painful to read. gj
im fuckin freaking out here man that post was not kosher
Wow you guys have excellent reading comprehension, I should have already known that by how all you do if go off topic and attack things that were never said. Sigma-Lambda was implying that America liked the British. Obviously there were more reasons than "America didn't like the British" for which they were overthrown, but that's not what we're arguing here. And the only reason I worded it like that was in response to they way Sigma-Lambda worded it. You guys think that the only reason the Tea Party doesn't support Obama is because they "don't like him"? Obviously it was because Obama didn't invite them to his tea party so they had to form their own.
He should get banned for being so dumb
Sigma-Lambda was implying that America liked the British.
no i wasn't. i was saying that the reason they overthrew them was because under british rule they had no representation [editline]05:35PM[/editline] darn it im gettin trolled that's the only explanation. no one could have that little knowledge of american history
no i wasn't. i was saying that the reason they overthrew them was because under british rule they had no representation [editline]05:35PM[/editline] darn it im gettin trolled that's the only explanation. no one could have that little knowledge of american history
I thought I was the one getting trolled I didn't realize anyone was so stupid they couldn't see that that post was obviously sarcasm. Did pizza even exist?
52% (.9 to be exact)
to 46% 8% different 6,000,000 vote difference Not barely.
to 46% 8% different 6,000,000 vote difference Not barely.
Again, I didn't say that Obama barely beat McCain, I said Obama barely got the votes of the majority of the populace. Are you just dumb or high or both?
I thought I was the one getting trolled I didn't realize anyone was so stupid they couldn't see that that post was obviously sarcasm. Did pizza even exist?
sarcasm isn't where you say a dumb thing, it's where you say a dumb thing that in some way satirizes your opponents position making dumb crap up for no reason does not equal sarcasm
Actually there was one of the lowest voter turnouts ever and Obama barely won, and a lot of the people who voted for Obama now regret it, so my guess is if there was an election tomorrow Obama would be out the door.
Right, "I didn't say that Obama barely beat McCain, I said Obama barely got the votes of the majority of the populace" My ass
Right, "I didn't say that Obama barely beat McCain, I said Obama barely got the votes of the majority of the populace" My ass
ignore him, he's trolling
"Barely won" Shoudl be reserved for when the victor is within 100 or 1000 or whatever votes from their next runner up, not 7% of the electorate [editline]08:43PM[/editline]
im fuckin freaking out here man that post was not kosher
I know man, I fucking cried and my chest started burning
sarcasm isn't where you say a dumb thing, it's where you say a dumb thing that in some way satirizes your opponents position making dumb crap up for no reason does not equal sarcasm
I guess you can't see the allegory in there (PS. the toppings are representation of America's taste for pepperoni and bacon, er... representation of government.)
Right, "I didn't say that Obama barely beat McCain, I said Obama barely got the votes of the majority of the populace" My ass
Well you see, there is this thing called the internet, and on it are things called forums where people post things, all of which is recorded on things called servers so all can go back and read them at any time. You should do that.
That's what I did, are you mentally deficient?

That still doesn't mean that the majority of people support Obama, when now over half the population does not support him.

Democracy warrants the majority, sure Obama has a somewhat larger gap over McCain, but for a majority it's only 3%, which is incredibly tiny.
can someone explain to me why the republican party attracts idiots like flies to honey
Actually there was one of the lowest voter turnouts ever and Obama barely won, and a lot of the people who voted for Obama now regret it, so my guess is if there was an election tomorrow Obama would be out the door.
The fuck is this then [editline]04:50PM[/editline]
can someone explain to me why the republican party attracts idiots like flies to honey
Dumb people believe dumb things I guess
The fuck is this then
The truth? Also goin' to play some SC2, will be back later, hope there will be enough funny and baseless posts that I can laugh at when I get back
